Great Day on the Water
Winter chinook/Ling cod/Prawn on May 5, 20262 adults

We met our captain, Barry at 7:15am. He was courteous, friendly and extremely helpful all day long. Barry was very focussed on our comfort and on doing his best to see ensure that we caught fish. Since the season was “on” for Ling Cod, that was our focus and we caught our limit at a very comfortable pace which included a double ( my wife and I pulled in fish at the same time). Captain Barry made a stop at the scenic village of Bamfield to satisfy our interest and we were thankful for his flexibility to do that - its an unusual little spot with a nifty boardwalk running the length of the island town and the stop offered a nice break in the day. During our return trip we caught prawns and crab for good measure. That evening we feasted on cod, crab and prawns with preparation tips from Barry. A great ending to a rewarding day. Thanks to Barry.

Port Alberni Chinook
Port Alberni Inlet Trip on July 12, 20254 adults

We met Barry and he immediately informed us of poor Sockeye conditions where we had booked and suggested an alternative. We accepted and went out and caught some excellent Chinook. Barry was an exceptional guide, very knowledgeable, great rapport! We had a wonderful time and will absolutely book again!
