WhipaSnapa Charters (est. 2000) invites you on a fishing adventure out of Biloxi, Mississippi. Your captain has the skills and knowledge needed to make your trip successful.

On the inshore trips, we offer 4 or 6-hour trips, and all trips are available for 1-6 people. You will fish the Biloxi Back Bay and surrounding areas. These are some of the most abundant fishing grounds in the US. Winter fishing from November through March consists of Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Sheephead, and Black drum. All these are very good eating fish, and a blast to catch. Around March many other species come into the area and spend the entire summer here: White trout, Ground mullet, Triple tail, and others. If you take a 6-hour combo trip (around March) we will start nearshore for a couple of hours and then make the 15-20 min boat ride out to the Barrier Islands where Sharks, Bull reds, Cobia (lemon fish), King and Spanish Mackeral, and many other big fish hang around this area till the fall.

You will fish aboard the Whipasnapa - a 29-foot Sea Hunt open fisherman powered by twin 250 Yamaha outboards. The boat is fast and safe and can comfortably accommodate up to 6 passengers who will enjoy plenty of shade, a restroom, and lots of space. The vessel features all the USCG-approved safety gear, and fish-finding needs to locate the best fishing spots. WhipaSnapa Charters provides all you need for a successful trip, and that includes rods, reels, tackle, live and artificial baits, and a fishing license. Captain Earl can clean and fillet your catch at the end of the trip for an extra fee. All you need to bring is some food and drinks for the day, and enjoy yourself and the fishing experience!

We’re hooked!
Inshore Light Tackle 1-2 people on October 19, 20252 adults

This was our first time doing an inshore Gulf fishing charter, and it completely exceeded our expectations. Captain Earl was knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about what he does. He knew all the right spots — we were reeling in fish almost immediately! The boat was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable, and the captain made sure we felt confident and had fun, no matter our experience level. We learned a lot about the local fish and even got to take home a great catch. From start to finish, everything was smooth, exciting, and full of great memories. Highly recommend this charter for anyone — whether you’re new to fishing or a seasoned angler. We’ll definitely be booking again! Mikal and Gail Fredericksburg, IA

The best
Inshore Light Tackle 3-4 people - 8:30 AM on June 15, 20264 adults

Captain Robert is amazing. We book this trip knowing nothing about the area to fish. Drove in from Missouri are holy cow was it worth it. His knowledge of the fish and methods was spot on. His patience was awsome. We went out after a big rain and still caught a pile of fish and all different species. I hilghly recommend him and his service. We definitely will be back.

Fishing with Robert
Inshore Light Tackle 3-4 people on June 25, 20264 adults

We set out for redfish and speckled trout, the captain said with all the rain pushing fresh water in it would be tough, and it was. We caught a few reds and many sheepheads, not what we were hoping for, but my family had a great trip. I would recommend fishing this charter, the captain made the best of the bad conditions, very enjoyable trip!
