Seize The Bay Fishing Charters knows how to make your day on the water exciting, fun, and an adventure you’ll remember. And they will do just that. Taking you to the best spots you could imagine, where the fish swim in schools, and where the scallops spend their days in the summer season.
Seize The Bay Fishing Charters is operated by Captain Tim who has many years of experience fishing the Nature Coast. His extensive knowledge and experience will go to work for you to create a memorable excursion of catching fish or collecting scallops.
The fishing will take place aboard an extremely versatile 21’ Kenner center console boat powered by a 200 HP Yamaha. The tunnel hull enables the boat to run in very shallow water to quickly get you to where the fish are, while the modified v-hull maintains a comfortable and dry ride in the chop.
Your targeted fish species will include Redfish, Cobia, Snook, Tarpon, Black Drum, Grouper, Spanish Mackerel, Spotted Seatrout, the mighty Bull and Blacktip Sharks, and the delicious Sheepshead. Scallops are also available when in season, which runs from June to September. You will have snorkeling equipment available for the scalloping trips, and fishing gear for all other types of fish you plan to catch.
Capt. Tim offers inshore, nearshore, flats and backcountry fishing and scalloping adventures along Florida’s beautiful Nature Coast. Your starting point will be Weeki Wachee. This is a small city located in Hernando County, Florida, and is home to attractions such as the world-famous Weeki Wachee Mermaid Show.

Terrific captain Tim
We had our adventure out this morning and the overall trip experience was fantastic! At first we were all apprehensive because the fish just seemed to not bite but with Tims knowledge he moved us over to a new spot where we caught a sting ray, 2 sharks, grouper, trout, and redfish we were able to take home! Tim is very responsive and works with your party to ensure that all get to participate. Don’t hesitate to book for a good time!!

Man we put a hurting on em today started off chasing the inshore bite, after gettin into enough red drum we decided to head out a little and get on some grunts and Timothy Stout happen to spot a grouper and told me where to cast and the rest was history. Not to many can say they have spot casted keeper red grouper but now I can thanks to Tim. Will be back again 100% recommend Tim with Seize The Bay Fishing Charters.

What a great time
Captain Tim was great. I took my family and father-in-law on his charter and we had an awesome time. The fish weren’t cooperating as much as we would’ve liked. But we still caught fish everybody landed some so no one got skunked and overall was a great experience. TIM tried his hardest to put us all on the fish. And we were catching. I would recommend anybody to take his charter
