Cayman Offshore Adventures is a family-friendly charter located on the beautiful waters of the western Caribbean Sea. Fishing the natural barriers and fringing reefs, as well as up to 12 miles offshore, the crew aims to provide the most memorable and fun day out on the water. All the trips are private. You will have a spacious 32' offshore sportfishing boat all to yourself. The vessel comes powered by twin 170 HP Yanmar engines and is rigged with the top-notch electronics for the best navigation. It also features a flybridge and a toilet, which make the boat even more comfortable. The newly uphauled boat can cater to up to 8 guests on board.
Check what is biting very close to the land on your 4-hour trip, sail to some more remote spots of the area during the 6-hour one, or spend your full day offshore chasing that dream fish! During the trip of your choosing, you will be able to target Mahi Mahi, Blue and White Marlins, Yellowfin Tuna, Mutton Snapper, Wahoo, and Blackfin Tuna.
The crew uses a great variety of fishing techniques – jigging while drift fishing, bottom fishing for Snappers, heavy tackle with 50 lb outfits with Momoi diamond line… the list goes on and on! There is also handline for those who are up for a challenge!
All Shimano and Penn rods and reels will be included in the price of the trip, as well as refreshing sodas and water. You will also be offered Pakula, Moldcraft, Black Bart, or Iland lures. Your catch will be cleaned and filleted for you at the end of your adventure, but it is recommended that you take only what you will be able to eat so that nothing goes to waste.

Our half day trip fishing was a great experience. Boat was clean, well stocked with beverages, and they showed up on time. We spent 2.5hrs trolling for big fish; but only one bite. We then moved on to fishing on the reef and caught at least 16 fish; several fighting Barracudas, GarFish, snapper and other fish that were really fun for myself and also my 11yr old daughter and 12yr old son. Captain and crew were SUPER helpful in making sure all four of our lines were working and baited (we had snags and losses to fish with sharp teeth). These guys are really great - HIGHLY Recommended.
Captain McTaggart and first mate Sean made our fishing experience the best it could be. Aside from catching fish, their hospitality and professionalism is the best in Grand Cayman. Asking us what we wanted to do and then delivering the finest six hours on the water met every expectation we had We know who to call when we return.
We went out with Jake and Shawn in 7/10 looking to catch Mahi Mahi but did not have any luck, Jake spotted some structure and was able to land some triple tail and caught enough for 3 delicious meals. We ended the trip by going snorkeling by the corral reef which was great way to cool off from the hot sun. Jakes family has been on the island since the 1840`s and has some great stories to tell while trolling. All in all a great relaxing day with the family and with Jake and Shawn.
The trip was fantastic! The captain and crew were very friendly and accommodating, the boat picked us up closer to where we were staying instead of having us drive across the island. We had 7 fishing and everyone caught... Ended up with several black fin tuna, barracuda and then a great Mahi Mahi. We stopped to snorkel at an amazing stop on the way back in and everyone had a great time. Thanks Captain Jake !! Would definitely recommend and do the trip again if we come back.
Jake is by far an excellent captain and knows his profession very well. He put us on fish quickly and knew where to go when the fishing slowed. His first mate Shawn was also excellent and made the experience enjoyable. My wife and I look forward to fishing with them on our next trip. Tight Lines, The Nusbietel's
