Deep South FIshing Charters is a full-service fishing charter operation that specializes in providing good fun and drag screaming action. Join Captain Ryan Booth in the mangroves and flats around Homestead, Florida, and get ready to enjoy some of the finest inshore fishing in the whole world.

You will be fishing aboard a boat that is perfectly adapted to fishing the local waterways. At 18', this technical Hell's Bay flats boat weighs just 620 lbs. This allows it to float in just 3 inches of water - perfect for stalking the many shallow water fish that call these waters home. Not only can this boat access the skinniest of flats, it can also safely take you to waters of 20-30 ft deep to chase Tarpon nearshore. What more could you ask for?

Explore the mangroves with Captain Ryan and not only will you learn about the best ways to catch fish on the fly or light tackle, you will also find out all about the Everglades' rich and diverse ecosystem.

It's difficult to find a larger variety of potential inshore game fish than what you have here - Redfish, Snook, Bonefish, Tarpon, Permit, and Trout can all be caught in these waters. This is where inshore sport fishing and saltwater fly fishing were invented - and Deep South Fishing Charters has everything you need to experience the local waters to the full.

A full range of top quality fishing equipment will be provided for you to use on your trip, and Captain Ryan can also clean your catch afterwards. He may even be able to pick you up from your hotel before your trip.

Don't miss out on securing your very own Everglades adventure today!

Saved my hopes for getting out on the water!
3/4 Day Trip on April 14, 20212 adults

After bad weather cancelation and another cancelled due to engine problems. I was scrambling to get my fishing trip into our vacation. Got in contact with Ryan who happen to be launching out of islamorada that week, which was closer to where I was staying. We got out and had a blast. Ryan knew some good spots and was able to get us on fish! Thank you Ryan. I would book again!

Three-quarter day trip with Captain Ryan Booth
3/4 Day Trip on February 22, 20202 adults

Captain Ryan did a fantastic job, we had a tough day high pressure, clear blue sky and gusts up to 30. He did not give up and even put in a little extra time to make sure we had a good experience. I Can tell you if you want someone with the knowledge of the entire area and specifically to put you on fish in Flamingo Captain Ryan Booth is the way to go.

Everglades fishing.
Full Day Trip on September 27, 2018

Great experience fishing with the captain. We sight fished Redfish, Snook, and jumped a tarpon. The equipment he has is excellent quality. He takes the time to teach you and is vary patient. He gave us a naturist type tour of the area and pointed out wild life the entire trip. I can’t recommend him enough.

Capt. Ryan Booth has been fishing in South Florida since he could walk. After he scaled down his fishing activities slightly to go to school, he threw himself back into fishing on graduation. Now fishing is his main priority, and he's constantly exploring the inshore waterways around Key Largo, always learning, finding new areas, and tracking the fish down. He likes to use his experience to always try to get his clients a guaranteed catch as far as the conditions and the fish will allow. He has been guiding professionally for the last two and a half years - previously to that he liked taking people out for fundraisers and family days out, giving him the experience to now run charters full time.
