The Glorious Fleet will take you on a fishing and sailing trip in the Maldives. The exotic island offers first-class fishing, mesmerizing sunrises and sunsets, and a host of attractions. The Island's people are warm and friendly, providing top-notch service to those who come in search of an extraordinary vacation.
The fishing will take place aboard the Glorious 001, which is a 58' locally crafted traditional Maldivian boat which was made for offshore sportfishing. This new beauty was built in 2016 and is powered by a 115 HP Yanmar engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 10 knots. The speed of the boat makes it excellent for sailing and fishing using a wide variety of techniques.
Glorious 001 comes with one day-use cabin, comfortably furnished with an en-suite bathroom with hot and cold water. The boat is delivered with a full complement of crew. It is air-conditioned throughout the living area and has entertainment systems and the latest safety features. The boat features 2 spacious sun-decks for guests to sun bask.
You will have a hard time forgetting the crystal clear waters that are home to species such as Tuna, Barracuda, Red Emperor, Mahi Mahi, and the excellent game fish Giant Trevally and Marlin. There are other species of course, such as Rainbow Runner and Grouper which are delicious to eat and fun to catch.
The crew has knowledge of every reef, all secret corners and islands, and can tailor-make the itinerary on the spot to fulfill all your fantasies. From spending a lazy afternoon on a deserted island or setting off the evening with sunset fishing to snorkeling near a remote sandbank; they can customize the itinerary just for your private charter.

Captain Waheed started fishing with his father when he was just a little boy, and today owns his own vessel. He has continued the family tradition by fishing with his own sons and is in process of making them into fine captains one day. His favorite fish to catch is Sailfish, but he also likes a Marlin. Captain Waheed has explored every corner of the Maldives and is able to cruise without a GPS. He is a humble, down to earth and fun person who makes sure everyone onboard has a lot of fun.
