It was a great day for us too, with two marlin attacks, one of which took 500 meters of line and unhooked, and the second really got our adrenaline pumping as we switched from one line to the other seven times without really wanting to bite. But that's what fishing is all about : moments filled with intense emotion.

Blue Marlin as planned

Amazing "Trio" and great service. The plan was to catch Blue Marlin as there was a season and somewhat bigger chance and I had a feeling Captain Stephen and team concentrated on that plan from first minute of departure. Goal achieved after about 2.5 hours of trying spots and routes. Was a long battle for me with Marlin but a great help and assistance of Le Trio. We also tried different spots and techniques but not much other fish interested. Apart from us that day not many even got a fish caught. I have been looking at many boats before comming to Mauritius as I had only 1 opportunity to catch Marlin and somehow Le Trio felt most right. I had a nose, and these guys, they have even better nose to sniff those Marlins in deep waters. No idea how they feel it but I see they catch it notoriously! Thank you for your work from first minutes and great atmosphere on boat! We enjoyed every minute including some rest!

Amazing day with Stephane and the crew, all super nice and friendly. Caught a good size Dorado and a small tuna, missed a few other strikes one of which was a Marlin. Saw loads of Sperm whales, big and close to the boat, a pod of Dolphins, and wonderful view of Mauritius from 12 miles out. Could not recommend this crew and trip more highly, generally an amazing day.
