Jawjackers Charters will take you inshore and nearshore fishing for table and game fish out of Port Aransas, TX. The Aransas Bay is famous for its awesome inshore fishing, with huge Reds lurking in its murky shallows, and the area also enjoys easy access to the nearshore reefs nearby.
The vessel you will be fishing aboard is a 21' Gulfcoast center console boat with room aboard for up to 4 guests. The vessel is perfect for navigating the shallow bays and flats, while still being stable enough to head further out when the weather is good. It comes equipped with GPS, fishfinder, a livewell full of fresh live bait, and everything you will need for the perfect day of fishing.
The crew specializes in inshore and nearshore fishing and provides a wide range of equipment to make the most out of your time on the water. Choose between trolling, bottom fishing, spinning, popping, jigging, and fly fishing for a wide range of species.
While this vessel is mainly set up for bay trips, fishing for big Bull Reds, Cobia, and Trout, you can also try your luck heading further out to fish for Sheepshead, Snapper, Kingfish, and more! All trips come with bait and tackle, and the captain can clean and fillet your catch after the trip (an additional fee applies for this service).

Full Day Trip on March 30, 2024We had a wonderful day fishing out of Port Aransas with Josh. We had four adults and two kids (boys aged 7 and 3), and it couldn't have been a better experience. We've fished with a number of guides out of Port A, and Josh is as good as it gets. Booking was easy; Josh is incredibly responsive and made sure we were well-prepared for the day. Out on the water, he was so helpful and patient with our boys and worked hard to keep us on fish for a full day. When the boys weren't fighting fish, they were spotting dolphins and birds, snagging shrimp from the bait bucket, and sharing snacks with Captain Josh. We topped off the freezer with a boatload of redfish and sheepshead and can't wait to get back out with Josh again soon. Two thumbs way up!

Full Day Trip on March 22, 2024Capt Josh was a very good Captain. He was very helpful in answering questions. He was nice, social and hands on if we needed any help. We caught lots of fish. We’re a family of 4 who booked a bay fishing trip with Josh. On the day we chose to go, it rained non-stop and the water was dirty. Josh was able to work with us and take us out the following day when the weather was much better. We fished multiple spots and caught a variety of fish. Josh was very personable and always helped everyone on the boat out. We all had a great time and highly recommend choosing Josh.

By far the best trip I have ever been on! Josh knew exactly where to catch the big ones! He’s very attentive and straight to the point. Polls and bait were also provided. If you haven’t yet, I would recommend booking a trip with him, you won’t be Disappointed! What a great experience!
