About the Captain

Daryl Carpenter
Grand Isle, Louisiana, United States
Member since February 2017
Captain Daryl Carpenter is the owner and operator of Reel Screamers Guide Service. He has fished the freshwater spillways of south Louisiana since he was a boy. His desire to catch bigger fish had led him to the banks of the Gulf of Mexico where he found his personal haven and the bass boat was quickly sold. He then started the charter and grown it to a 3 boat operation offering inshore and nearshore trips.

Had a great day. We were hoping to get on some big trout but they were tough to find. We caught plenty of trout though and Captain Blake did a great job and worked hard at making sure we were all catching fish and having a good time. We caught 55 nice fish and would definitely recommend him.

After struggling against wind and dolphins early, Captain Darryl put us on the fish!
With an early 6 fish on the first half, we nearly hit our 50 fish limit in the end.
Great trip!
