Reel Screamers Guide Service
Reel Screamers Guide Service invites you for an exciting fishing adventure on Grand Isle, Louisiana. The charter operates full time and is owned and operated by Captain Daryl Carpenter who has fished the waters of Louisiana his entire life. He works with an extremely experienced and professional crew of fishermen who will make sure your day on the waters is fun and productive.
You will fish aboard a 24' Blazer Bay center console, originally built in 2007, and restored in 2016. The boat was repowered in 2019 with a brand-new, fuel-efficient 250 HP Yamaha engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 55 knots. This speed makes it reliable in getting you to and from the targeted location in a satisfactory time frame.
The crew fishes year-round and they are dedicated to treating you as a customer, thus doing everything they can to make sure that you have a good time on the water. Their trips are tailored to your request, usually leaving the dock at or just before first light. Your targeted species on the inshore trip will be Black Drum, Mangrove Snapper, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, and Sheepshead.
You will spend the day interacting with the crew and soaking in nature, while the crew works their magic. They will give their all to try keeping your lines tight and your reels screaming. Once you return to the dock, you are free to relax in the shade, grab a delicious lunch, take a nap, or whatever tickles your fancy while the crew professionally cleans and fillets your catch.
Enjoy your day on the beautiful waters of Louisiana, and have a great fishing experience with Reel Screamers Guide Service!
Note: We have done everything we can to keep our prices as low as possible however the current economic environment has forced us to make some adjustments. Customers will be charged an additional $50 fuel surcharge as long as fuel prices remain above $4 a gallon.

Capt Daryl made the trip most enjoyable & knows the area well. Hope to book another trip next spring.

Daryl made the trip. Weather was not ideal....mostly wind, but Captain Daryl worked his tail off to get us into fish. He was a patient and competent teacher. Our family loved the experience, we will definitely be back. Give Daryl a call and talk to him you'll quickly realize he's the real deal, Cajun fish master.
Adam, thank you for the kind words. We really enjoyed having you, Walter kept me smiling once he got a little talkative. Enjoy the rest of your stay, look forward to seeing you again.
Capt./Mr. Daryl was great for our particular fishing trip. He was patient and super helpful with my novice to fishing family. He did such a great job at putting us on fish. The true mark of a successful outing was when my family asked when can we do this again and soon! This was a blast! Thank you, Mr. Daryl!!
