Owner Michael Attwood works with a lovely crew who work hard to provide you with the best possible experience and lovely memories. This crew knows every spot worth fishing in the local waters around the Gold Coast.
You will fish aboard the Discovery, which is a 30’ Shark Catamaran boat with a capacity of 10 anglers. It is powered by two 250 HP Honda engines, so it’ll get you where you need to be in a matter of minutes. The boat has all the amenities you’ll need, including a toilet and an anchoring system for when you find that perfect spot full of fish waiting to bite.
All the fishing gear will be ready for you on board, including rods and reels, as well as live bait, so you can get straight to fishing! After the trip, if you want to have a taste of your hard work, the crew will be happy to clean and bag your catch for you to take to the table.
These waters are as abundant as they are beautiful, so there’s always a variety of species to target. You’ll be fishing for Pink Snapper, Kingfish, Tuna, Snoek, Mahi Mahi, Jewfish, Spanish Mackerel, and even Marlin.
Kids are welcome on board, so feel free to take your family on an exciting fishing adventure in these turquoise waters! You’ll have water and lights snacks served on board.

Unforgettable Fishing Tour – Caught Several Tuna!
Had an amazing time on this fishing tour! The crew was friendly, well-organised, and made the whole experience fun and relaxing. We were lucky enough to catch several tuna, which made the day even more exciting. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great day out on the water.

Went for partners birthday
Had an awesome day on the water. The captain and crew were really nice and informative. Helped out a lot. They even caught a hammerhead! Was released safely 🙂 took a nice fillet oftuna home with us for dinner!

What a day on the water!
What a day with Discovery fishing charters! Todd (skipper) and Morgan (deckie) were spot and gave all on board a welcoming and happy experience, working hard to get everyone involved a fish. The biggest fish was beautiful Cobia that went 23kg! I definitely rerecommend this company if you are thinking about doing a charter. David S.

Captain Todd was great with us 3 boys as we were deaf, he ensure we all understood what his plan were and what was happening. He was very friendly and would go again! great stuff Todd and his assistant couldn’t remember his name! He was a bright young bloke with great ethic and attitude.

Great day fishing
Caught plenty of fish including longtail tuna which were definitely the highlight. The crew were also great with my son who wanted to go on a charter for his 10th birthday and finished the day a very happy boy :)
