Description

Discovery Fishing Charter is one of the best fishing charters on the Gold Coast. They offer full and half day tours, calm water and offshore trips to catch the big game fish. They are run by an extremely efficient and friendly crew who all work hard to provide you with the best possible experience and lovely memories to take with you. This crew knows every spot worth fishing in, in the local waters around the Gold Coast.

You will fish aboard the Discovery, which is a 30 foot Shark Catamaran with a capacity for 12 anglers. It is powered by two 250 HP Yamaha engines with a maximum cruising speed of 20 knots. The boat has all the safety and navigation needed to make a trip successful, as well as a toilet and an anchoring system for when you find that perfect spot full of fish waiting to bite.

Discovery Fishing Charters will take you fishing for Pink Snapper, Kingfish, Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna, Snoek, Mahi Mahi, Dhufish, Spanish Mackerel or even a Marlin. If you are a beginner or seasoned, young or old, male or female, Discovery Fishing Gold Coast can show you how to land that monster fish and make for a great day out on the water! Fishing gear is provided including rods, reels, tackle, live and artificial baits.

You will also have water and soft drinks served on board, and your catch can be gilled and gutted as per local regulations. They cater to groups as well as individuals, and they provide lunch on all full day charters.

Weather poor, too rough. 5 people ill, 1 undersized fish caught the whole trip. Overall a great disappointing experience. 12 people too many for the room on the boat.

The weather was to rough, other boats wouldn’t go out and cancelled. 12 people on board all scared by the rough ness, one fish to small to keep was caught. Came back with no reduced payment or refund offered. People sick everywhere
