Finn-Addict-Fishing
Finn-Addict-Fishing is based out of Port Orange, Florida, serving the Daytona Beach and New Smyrna Beach areas. They are dedicated to providing guests with a fishing adventure of a lifetime. Captain Chris says he’s been fishing forever. He ran an offshore charter company in the past, then went into commercial fishing, before finally returning to the charter business, which is his first love.
Capt. Chris will take you out on his 36’ Yellowfin center console boat powered by twin 350 HP Yamaha engines, with a maximum cruising speed of 35 knots. This speed means that you will get to the offshore grounds very quickly and not waste any time. The boat is fully equipped with the necessary safety and electronic equipment such as life vests and a fishfinder.
The boat also has a wide T-top to provide shade under the hot Floridian sun, a toilet for your convenience, and plenty of cushioned seating areas so you can relax after a fight with some of the monster specimens you might encounter.
You can target a variety of fish here depending on the season, but this being Florida, something is always lurking below the blue line. Capt. Chris can put you on Red Snapper, Wahoo, King Mackerel, Cobia, Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Blue Marlin, and Blackfin Tuna. He will provide you with the fishing gear, live bait, downriggers, and centerriggers which will maximize your chances.
Fish cleaning is available at the end of your trip at an extra cost, so bring a cooler if you plan to keep your catch and take it home for dinner. You are welcome to bring food and drinks for the day.

6 Hour Trip on May 22, 2025
If you are looking to get some real experience doing some deep sea fishing then Capt Chris is your man. Hauled 14 fish off of a 6 hour charter. Fish ranged from 15-50 pounds approximately. This was our first time deep sea fishing we absolutely enjoyed it. Will be coming back next year for sure. Also super knowledgeable and answered all our questions.

Unexpected Summer Success
8 Hour Trip on July 16, 2024
My son and grandson had never been deep sea fishing before. This was one of the rare opportunities of having them at the same time on vacation and wanted to check off their bucket list. Unless you are hitting the Gulf Stream, summer fishing in the ocean is very challenging and especially when the top water is 85 degrees F. So, there were no great expectations going out on this trip in mid-July. I chose Finn-Addict-Fishing specifically for the size and type of boat. It is best suited for rough waters. The last I needed were two sick boys. The boat is a 36' Yellowfin Center Console. It was well equipped and clean. Captain and owner Chris Endicott was great. He worked hard in getting us on fish. We caught more than I expected this time of year. I look forward in chartering him again but next time it will be in the fall or spring.

We caught fish at every spot we stopped. Limited out on two types of snapper. Caught cobia and shark. Captain Chris knows his stuff! Can’t wait to go back

Had a perfect day on the water with Captain Chris, very nice open front 36’ center console boat. I told the captain the fish we wanted to target and he delivered for my son and me. The six hour trip was plenty of time to get a few miles offshore and catch our kings and barracuda! I would definitely recommend!
