Chapman’s Charters specializes in light tackle inshore and nearshore fishing trips out of the Calcasieu Estuary in Hackberry, Louisiana. If you are looking for a fishing trip of a lifetime that you won’t soon forget, Chapman’s Charters is there to make it happen. Captain Billy is a very experienced guide who knows where the fish are biting and hiding.

Join Chapman’s Charters aboard a 24-foot Nautic Start center console, which is well-prepared for the current bite. It comes powered by a 250 HP Mercury engine and has a maximum cruising speed of 50 knots to get you to the fishing grounds quickly. On board this spacious vessel, you will not miss the exhilarating Louisiana fishing experience. The navigational electronics include a Lowrance GPS and a fish finder. There is a Power-Pole shallow water anchor to make sure you stay rooted to the fishing grounds, as well as a Minn Kota wireless trolling motor for a quiet ride. The boat provides comfortable fishing space for up to four guests.

Chapman’s Charters will take you fishing the inshore and nearshore waters, as well as the flats and backcountry. You will be able to enjoy some light tackle action, along with spinning and popping where the opportunity presents itself. Chapman’s Charters offers four and eight-hour trips, where you will be catching Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, Sheepshead, and Black Drum.

A trip with Chapman’s Charters comes inclusive with rods, reels, tackle, and lures. Your catch will be cleaned and filleted for you at the end of the trip at no additional charge so that you could take it home with you and taste for dinner later. For your fishing adventure, you will need to bring a Louisiana fishing license, sunscreen, your camera to take a lot of pictures, an ice chest with some soft drinks, appropriate clothes, food, and the desire to catch fish.

After a day out with Chapman’s Charters, you will leave with a box full of fish and lots of memories.
