Cruising out of Orange Beach, Alabama, Wahoo Watersports offers fun, family-friendly fishing adventures on the waters of the Gulf Coast. With a crew made up of third-generation local fishermen, this operation knows how to get the best out of the local waters. Come join them for an experience you won't forget!
Your trip will take place aboard 'Dark Thirty,' a spacious 30' saltwater fishing boat. Originally built in 2000, it was restored in 2011 and is fully rigged with navigational electronics, including a GPS, a VHF radio, a fishfinder, and a radar.
This clean, smooth-riding boat has an enclosed toilet for your maximum comfort on the water, as well as a flybridge to give you the upper hand when looking for fish. There's plenty of space for up to 6 anglers to fish together, so it's perfect for a family and friends getaways.
Your trip will take you fishing up to 9 miles offshore around the reefs and wrecks, bottom fishing and trolling for a wide range of species. You will target tasty bottom fish such as Red Snapper, Grouper, and Triggerfish, as well as exciting pelagics like King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, and Cobia.
You don't need to worry about bringing tackle or gear – the crew will provide everything for you. Expect rods, reels, live bait, and lures, as well as ice for your catch and fishing licenses for you and your group.
If you decide to keep your catch, the crew will clean and fillet it for you at the end of the trip, so that you could take it home with you and store the freezer or have for dinner later. As well as that, you can feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks with you. A 20% gratuity for the deckhand is appreciated.

3/4 Day Trip – Cash Only on June 9, 2021 • 6 adultsBrooks and John were phenomenal. He promised to put us on lots of fish and he did exactly that. Family of 5 with 3 boys aged 4, 10, and 13. Got a couple big King Mackerels trolling between reefs, caught a bunch of Red Snapper, saw dolphins, enough fish for a good cookout and just a great trip all around. Brooks has been doing this his whole life and it shows in a big way. You won't be disappointed! Don't hesitate if you have kids, Brooks and John were patient and very helpful with everyone. We're already looking at the fall and next summer to fit in a couple more trips and we'll be calling Brooks right away! Thanks guys for a great day of fishing!

Rained on us twice(no lightning) we were able to all fit under the canopy.My wife and I loved the whole experience it was just what we wanted and more than expected. My kids are hard to keep entertained, Brooks knew just when to change it up! He put us on triggerfish, snapper, mackerel and Bonita. We had one monster mackerel on to start the day that broke the line. I just wish it was closer to Kansas cause we’d be back a lot more, hopefully next year! Thanks again Brooks

Half Day Trip – Cash (High Season) on July 12, 2020 • 3 adults • 1 childHad the best time with Captain Brooks and Jason yesterday!!! My little boy is 6 years old and loves to fish locally in TN. This allowed for him to experience deep sea fishing and appreciate the labor involved in catching fish much larger than his typical bass or catfish! He reeled in each fish we caught and Jason truly took the time to explain what was going on and why!! Brooks’ family was so welcoming and spending time with them is truly as of you were at your family’s house visiting! Thanks again for allowing us to make such amazing memories!!
