Cruising out of Orange Beach, Alabama, Wahoo Watersports offers fun, family-friendly fishing adventures on the waters of the Gulf Coast. Your trip will take place aboard 'Dark Thirty,' a spacious 30' saltwater fishing boat. Originally built in 2000, it was restored in 2011 and is fully rigged with navigational electronics, including a GPS, a VHF radio, a fishfinder, and a radar.
This clean, smooth-riding boat has an enclosed toilet for your maximum comfort on the water, as well as a flybridge to give you the upper hand when looking for fish. There's plenty of space for up to 6 anglers to fish together, so it's perfect for a family and friends getaways.
Your trip will take you fishing up to 9 miles offshore around the reefs and wrecks, bottom fishing and trolling for a wide range of species. You will target tasty bottom fish such as Red Snapper, Grouper, and Triggerfish, as well as exciting pelagics like King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, and Cobia.
You don't need to worry about bringing tackle or gear – the crew will provide everything for you. Expect rods, reels, live bait, and lures, as well as ice for your catch and fishing licenses for you and your group.
If you decide to keep your catch, the crew will clean and fillet it for you at the end of the trip, so that you could take it home with you and store the freezer or have for dinner later. As well as that, you can feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks with you. A 20% gratuity for the deckhand is appreciated.

This was our first experience and we could not have asked for a better maiden voyage! Captain Brooks and Finn took great care of our family. They were very knowledgeable and down to earth, making the experience feel like we were fishing with friends. They did everything they could to get us on fish and make the most of our day on the water. Extremely helpful with a family member with physical limitations and accommodating her to make sure she was able to catch fish and and enjoy her time out. We would recommend 10 out of 10 and will book again when we visit the area!
Captain Brooks, Finn and Garner were great. Very laid back.very knowledgeable of the area and fishing. My husband and I booked a shark fishing trip. Captain Brooks was determined to get us a shark. We caught all sorts of fish and even had one shark on the line but he got off. We saw spinner sharks jump up out of the water. Saw a Barracuda. Caught Red Snapper (catch and release) and other fish. It was a fun day. I loved The view from the top platform of the boat. We even got to meet Captain Brooks mom who was very sweet and signed one of her books for us. Highly recommend using Wahoo and Captain Brooks for your offshore fishing trips.
Capt. Brooks was excellent at getting us on fish and very pleasant to be around and his mate Tater was very good at keeping everything baited and ready to go both are very knowledgeable about the type fish that there is to be caught I would definitely go with them again

Brooks and John were phenomenal. He promised to put us on lots of fish and he did exactly that. Family of 5 with 3 boys aged 4, 10, and 13. Got a couple big King Mackerels trolling between reefs, caught a bunch of Red Snapper, saw dolphins, enough fish for a good cookout and just a great trip all around. Brooks has been doing this his whole life and it shows in a big way. You won't be disappointed! Don't hesitate if you have kids, Brooks and John were patient and very helpful with everyone. We're already looking at the fall and next summer to fit in a couple more trips and we'll be calling Brooks right away! Thanks guys for a great day of fishing!

Best Captain and deck hand ever!! Awesome just doesn't do credit. Best charter crew and trip we have ever taken. Please be careful of the language on the video we were very excited. I wanted to upload more pictures but sight wouldn't let me.
