When you want to fill your cooler with delicious fish and have the best time doing it, turn to Reef Bobber Fishing Charters! Located in Lakeside Marblehead, Captain Brad Miller and his wife run this operation that also offers comfortable fishing lodges.
You will be casting your line out of a 28' cuddy cabin with a 275 HP Chrysler engine and plenty of space to seat up to 6 anglers. The boat sports an 11' beam and a convertible top to keep you safe from the elements, because the weather on western Lake Erie can be fickle. There's an enclosed porta potty on board, so you will travel and fish in full comfort.
To get your catch into the boat, you'll have quality Pflueger and Daiwa fishing equipment, and your guide will provide live bait and an assortment of lures, as well.
Walleye and Yellow Perch are the primary targets on the waters, and both their quantity and quality is excellent. To go after Perch, you will use minnow-tipped hooks and this is fun for both adults and little ones.
You will be casting and drifting to catch Walleye that will fight you with everything they've got as you reel them in. After the trip, your catch can be cleaned and filleted for you, so that you can bring it home for dinner.
You're welcome to come aboard with kids, they will have the best time learning how to get their first fish into the boat. Capt. Brad will have life jackets for everyone, so your safety is covered as well.
Capt. Brad will take care of everything fishing-related, it's up to you to show up with a valid fishing license, drinks, and snacks.

Full Day Trip on April 30, 2025 • 2 adultsOverall experience was great! Wind out of the northeast made for cold choppy morning, but we still caught em! Finished with a 3 man limit in about 5 hours. Stayed for a few extra throw backs just for the fun of it! Finished with 4 fish over 22” , with the biggest being in the 24” range. Overall fantastic day on the water and I would recommend captain Brad and Reef Bobber to anyone looking to get on fish and a have great day. We’ll definitely be back!

Half Day Trip (7AM) on July 18, 2023 • 2 adultsHad a very positive experience. Two fisherman caught two limits of walleye. Boat had plenty of room. When we arrived 15 minutes before our scheduled time, the boat was fueled and we ledt immediately. Brad regularly moved around when we were not having success and he would move to pass over successful areas again.. Brad gave good instruction on technique and was quick in netting our catches. Brad was a good conversationalist and was very encouraging when we encountered a couple of short slow periods. Brad skillfully fileted our catches at the end of the trip. I highly recommend Brad and we would use him again.

We caught our 5 person limit plus one for the captain on a day not many boats were able to pick more than a few. Captain Brad knew right where to go and what presentation to use. If you’re looking for a fantastic captain with literally generations of knowledge, I highly recommend Reef Bobber charters!

Brad felt they were biting slow….but we only came home with one shy of limit and several were sent back to grow a little more. Brad then suggested we take our fresh catch to Crows Nest who would prepare it. Perfect ending to the day! We will be back to fish again with Brad

We actually caught a bunch with the help of Brad, how to cast and reel in fish. Brad was very patient with us because we were all new at this. Brad actually cleaned them for us so that we could eat them within hours, and they were fresh. I Recomment this trip to anybody especially beginners. It was a great family outing and brought us all together.

We were rained out, postponed by heavy North winds, and facing a long disappointing ride home. Brad waited it out with us instead of cancelling and calling it a day. He made sure the boys were constantly reeling in fish and made it an amazing and memorable experience for us all!

Captain Brad took us into Canada to get us the best fish. Yes, it required an Ontario fishing license but it paid off. We caught very nice walleye. The fishing conditions weren’t great but we did better than most from the radio chatter. Brad kept us moving to try and stay on the fish. No wind and bright sunshine made it very tough conditions for catching fish but a beautiful day on the water otherwise. And at days end he cleaned our catch. Definitely would book with him again in the future.
We didn't catch anything but it wasn't the captains fault, he moved us number of times but the fish just didn't bite. He traveled about 43 miles to get us on fish, so I say he tried.
Perch fishing, didn't limit out, but Captain can't control Mother Nature.......wind out of northeast. Overall, lots of fun on the water!!!!
Grat first Erie trip. Brad really knows what he's doing. Put us on fish right away. Weather was rough...waves are hard on an old man. I'd definitely go again, but for a half day.
