When you want to fill your cooler with delicious fish and have the best time doing it, turn to Reef Bobber Fishing Charters! Located in Lakeside Marblehead, Captain Brad Miller and his wife run this operation that also offers comfortable fishing lodges.
You will be casting your line out of a 28' cuddy cabin with a 275 HP Chrysler engine and plenty of space to seat up to 6 anglers. The boat sports an 11' beam and a convertible top to keep you safe from the elements, because the weather on western Lake Erie can be fickle. There's an enclosed porta potty on board, so you will travel and fish in full comfort.
To get your catch into the boat, you'll have quality Pflueger and Daiwa fishing equipment, and your guide will provide live bait and an assortment of lures, as well.
Walleye and Yellow Perch are the primary targets on the waters, and both their quantity and quality is excellent. To go after Perch, you will use minnow-tipped hooks and this is fun for both adults and little ones.
You will be casting and drifting to catch Walleye that will fight you with everything they've got as you reel them in. After the trip, your catch can be cleaned and filleted for you, so that you can bring it home for dinner.
You're welcome to come aboard with kids, they will have the best time learning how to get their first fish into the boat. Capt. Brad will have life jackets for everyone, so your safety is covered as well.
Capt. Brad will take care of everything fishing-related, it's up to you to show up with a valid fishing license, drinks, and snacks.

Captain Brad took us into Canada to get us the best fish. Yes, it required an Ontario fishing license but it paid off. We caught very nice walleye. The fishing conditions weren’t great but we did better than most from the radio chatter. Brad kept us moving to try and stay on the fish. No wind and bright sunshine made it very tough conditions for catching fish but a beautiful day on the water otherwise. And at days end he cleaned our catch. Definitely would book with him again in the future.
We loved our fishing trip. It was a laid back fun family time. Everyone caught fish. When we didn’t catch the first couple spots he moved us til we found them. He even let our little girls reel in fish he hooked. Beautiful sunset. Thanks!
What a fun time! We caught our walleye limit. Captain Brad did a wonderful job keeping us on top of the walleye and we hit some good drifts. We caught all kind of species. What a fantastic day!
Overall experience was great! Wind out of the northeast made for cold choppy morning, but we still caught em! Finished with a 3 man limit in about 5 hours. Stayed for a few extra throw backs just for the fun of it! Finished with 4 fish over 22” , with the biggest being in the 24” range. Overall fantastic day on the water and I would recommend captain Brad and Reef Bobber to anyone looking to get on fish and a have great day. We’ll definitely be back!
