JL Guide Service is an experienced and family friendly operator that offers fishing trips in some of Arkansas’s finest lakes. Join them on the stunningly beautiful Lake Ouachita and enjoy your day catching fish in beautiful surroundings.
All you need to do is decide whether you want to fish for half a day or a full day. Half day trips usually last for 4 hours, 3/4 day trips last 5 hours, and full day trips coming in at eight hours, including fish cleaning. JL Guide Service specializes in fishing for Bass, Crappie, and Bream, with Walleye also being available seasonally. Please note they do not target Stripers.
Your trip will take place aboard a 20 ft deck boat whose 115 HP Yamaha engine will get it to the best fishing spots in the blink of an eye. Up to 4 guests are welcome aboard and children are always encouraged to join in the fun. An additional charge of $75 for more than 2 guests.
All the fishing equipment you will need on your trip is included in the price, with all the necessary rods, reels, line, and lures being prepared in advance of your trip. Live bait will also be supplied free of charge if it is being used.
The fun doesn’t stop when you leave the water. Have your fish cleaned and bagged free of charge on return to the dock, and find out just how good a dinner of your own freshly-caught fish really is.

He is extremely knowledgeable about this lake and we caught several species of fish. This place is awesome and I would recommend Jason with JL guide service. And if your lucky, you may get to see a C-130 Hercules fly directly over your head!!!

Our guide did a great job of putting on some tricky fish. When the bite was on, it was really on. He was having a hard time keeping up with unhooking fish. We came back with two kinds of bass, catfish, walleye and bluegill. Even though we didn't keep them, we did catch two drum. Our guide was also able to help my first time fisherman husband.
Enjoyed fishing with you again and meeting your husband. He caught on pretty good. Look forward to next time.

Jason was great! He did everything to make sure we had a great time and caught some fish. It was a hot hot day but we had good time!! We would 100% recommend Jason and hope to come back again to fish with him.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 10% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
