Captain Pete & his mate Frank were awesome. Had an excellent time! They were supportive, friendly, and didnt skip a step to make sure we brought in as many fish as we could, even for a half day trip. They say a bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work. Well, a good day of fishing makes you never want to go back! The sun & heat don’t mess around but there is plenty of shade on board. Catching Mahi was a first for everyone in our group which was fun to experience. Gorgeous fish. Towards the end of the trip they dropped a line as deep as it could go to see what we could wrangle in and my little brother got to reel in an Amberjack in 400+ feet of water which is an experience you don’t get often! Captain Pete and First Mate Travis were excellent! Their performance and teamwork were crucial for our success. I was so glad I chose this charter and boat for the ease of moving around the aft area while fishing. Pretty much as soon as we hit deep water, Captain Pete put us on a school of Mahi-mahi and the action was unbelievable. We had several first time ocean anglers in the group and it was great to see the look on their faces as the fish started biting. We also caught a nice size Greater Amberjack and some smaller bait fish as well. We will definitely be back! The only problem now is, topping this trip!

Had an incredible half-day yellowtail trip out of Key Largo, and can't recommend the crew enough. This was our first time on a private charter as a family, and they absolutely delivered. We booked this trip last minute after another charter fell through due to mechanical issues. Pete, who normally runs things, was out of town but coordinated everything for us and got Ryan lined up to captain the boat. He was prompt communicating with us and made sure everything was scheduled correctly and that we'd be geared up for a good day. Ryan and first mate Matt took great care of us out there. We hit perfect conditions and nearly limited out on yellowtail, it was one of those days everything just came together. Ryan gave us a clear rundown before we headed out on what we'd be targeting and how the day would go. He and Matt were awesome with our whole group, and made a point of letting our youngest angler catch some bait fish, which he loved. They made sure the rest of us felt taken care of the entire trip too. Smooth ride out, smooth ride back. They cleaned all our fish for us afterward, filleted some and kept others whole so we could take some to a restaurant to have cooked and bring the rest home to freeze. That kind of extra care after a trip already ended says a lot. If you're in Key Largo and want a great shot at yellowtail with a crew that knows what they're doing and treats you right, book with this crew. It set the bar high for every charter after it. Already looking forward to going back.

We had an absolutely amazing time on this charter! From the moment we left the dock, Captain Pete and First Mate Travis made sure we had a great experience. Travis worked nonstop, keeping the rods baited, resetting lines, and making sure we were always fishing. You could tell he worked incredibly hard and genuinely wanted us to catch fish. We ended up catching some beautiful mahi-mahi, and it made for an unforgettable day on the water! The captain was fantastic—knowledgeable, laid-back, and just our kind of people. He knew exactly where to put us on the fish and made the trip fun from start to finish. If you’re looking for a charter with a hardworking crew, great fishing, and people who make you feel like old friends, this is the one to book. We can’t wait to come back!

The high ratings Captain Pete has are 100% accurate. Him and his first mate were great, straight forward about conditions, and always did their best to work with what mother nature gave us with weather and fish. The boat was super comfy, especially since we were a family of 4 with a teen and 6 year old. I have MS and it was great to have the shaded benches to escape to when the sun was too strong. We also got a ton of fish (14 or 15 in all), and learned a lot about how to properly use the rods and how to fish for mahi. A bonus was seeing a couple sea turtles, and taking a quick break over some beautiful reefs on the way back in. This was our first charter, my husband’s first fishing trip, and my first one as an adult. Highly recommend as the best entry into fishing and the sea.
