    Last several backcountry trips to mosquitolagoon have been really good waters very low and super clear with some good schools of redfish and blackdrum ,they have been chewing on artificial, but mostly select shrimp

    So this has to be the best time of year to experience some of the best inshore fishing around ,big pods of bait are everywhere just cruising down the river and you bound to see some big explosions on the schools of bait ,throwing one of these live baits in this feed and you will get hooked up ,big redfish,snook jacks, and tarpon are just a few feeding on the big bait schools .     On our recents trips the bite has really picked up . On our recent inshore trips big black drum up to 25 pounds ,redfish up to 35 pounds and sheephead are pretty steady in the 2 to 7 pound range

    Now that the temps are dropping ,the fishing is really heating up inshore ,our last few trips this past week have been really good catching a variety of ishore species ,most common was redfish,black drum ,and sheep head . Here in another week expect to start catching pompano along the beach and our inland waterways ,these fish are excellent tablefare .
