Southern Bend Offshore Charters operates out of Orange Beach, AL, offering high-action adventures to the best offshore and reef fishing grounds. The rich area waters will allow you to target a range of species, allowing you to customize your trip to best suit your wishes and the skill level of your group.
You will be fishing aboard the flagship of the Southern Bend fleet the “Miss Ginger”. It’s a 30’ Island Hopper sportfishing boat with plenty of room aboard for 6 anglers. She features a comfortable, air-conditioned interior and a head for extra convenience on longer trips. The vessel also boasts a large flybridge where you can relax and enjoy the stunning views on your way to and from the fishing grounds.
Orange Beach is widely recognized as possibly the best fishing location in the whole of the Alabama Gulf Coast. It enjoys great fishing from a few inches of water in its remote backcountry and unbeatable access to the very heart of the Gulf of Mexico. Here, you’ll be able to choose from a list of targets including Snapper, Grouper, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, and more.
You will be provided with nothing but the best fishing equipment, with a choice of light and heavy tackle, and live bait or lures. Depending on your target species you can spend the day spinning, jigging, trolling, or bottom fishing. Captain Landon’s skilled first mate will bend over backwards to give you an unforgettable time on board, heading home at the end of the day with aching arms and awesome fish!

even better than expected
We went fishing on 7/5 and 7/6/2024. Caught a ton of fish. Lots of playlists of music onboard. We caught so many fish that I lost track. We fished 12 hours on 7/5 and ~4 or 5 hours on 7/6. Captain and first mate were very helpful of all our needs and very down to earth and definitely delivered results! All fishing equipment was top of the line. Next time I go back to Orange Beach, I will definitely be scheduling another fishing trip on Southern Bend Offshore Miss Ginger.

Great fishing trip
My wife and I wanted to take a offshore trip while on vacation. We had a great time the captain knew his spots and the young deck hand did a great job keeping us fishing. We caught several great fish and hooked on to some massive sharks. Will definitely book again with these guys.

Half day trip with Captain Buddy
An absolutely amazing trip, had 2 first time fishers with us. The captain and first mate kept working to put us on fish and made sure we had a great time. Perfect First Experience
This was a perfect first time offshore experience for my teenage sons. They’ve been saltwater fishing in bays for most of their lives, but I wanted to see if I could get them hooked on deeper water fishing and they had a GREAT time…and they learned a lot from our first mate while having a ton of fun. Would recommend to others, and look forward to getting the longer trip next time, bringing more family along to enjoy the experience.
