If you're ready to enjoy fishing in Virginia Beach, book a trip with Afishinado VB Fishing Charters. Having logged many hours on the Atlantic Ocean, Captain Kevin knows them forwards and back.
King Mackerel (Kingfish), Flounder, Bluefish, Little Tunny (False Albacore), Blacktip Shark, Spanish Mackerel, Spadefish, Tigerfish, Speckled Trout, Spadefish,Seabass, Flounder, Mahi and more could be biting, depending on the season. For these species, you're likely to troll using light tackle or bottomfishing.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Childrens life jackets available on board. Snacks and lunches are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to keep their stamina going!
You'll be fishing aboard a 31' Ocean Master center console with plenty of room for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Kevin will provide top off the line rods and reels (Penn, Diawa, Avet,Shimano)for you, along with lures and bait.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Most fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain and he can tell you more.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Perfect Day on the Water

What an incredible day out of Virginia Beach. The weather could not have been better, sunny, warm, and calm, and our captain and mate made the whole trip unforgettable.
The captain was fantastic. He worked nonstop to keep us on the fish and was always ready to move when things slowed down or when we were catching smaller ones. His determination really showed, and before long we were on the big fish. The mate was just as great, friendly, professional, and always there when we needed anything.
My wife and I had such a good time catching and releasing fish. We kept five speckled trout and released many more throughout the day. It was one of those trips where everything came together: perfect weather, great fishing, and an amazing crew. We will definitely be back.

The day was good, slight cloud cover made sight fishing early difficult so we trolled for Spanish for a bit. I think we boated a dozen or so. Then started sight fishing g for reds. Ended up spotting a small school and landed a good 40+ incher.
Captain and 1st Mate were great. Full of knowledge and happy to share it. Quick with lines and hooks, and didnt laugh too hard at rookie mistakes.
Overall really good, work definitely go out with them again.

Our trip was a highlight for our 9 year old new fisher and also enjoyable for more seasoned adult fishers. Captain was welcoming and accommodating. He also gave great tips and incite into fishing the local waters. Will return for longer trips in the future!

Captain Kevin and mate Josh were awesome. Myself and my 5 year old son went out for a morning trip for some inland fishing. Not only were Kevin and Josh great at getting fish in the boat, but were extremely patient with a 5 year old full of energy and questions. They got us an inland slam of trout, bluefish, reds and a stud of a flounder. Thank you for a great trip and great memories with my boy. We’ll definitely be back.
