Charter Boat Rewind invites you to come fishing out of the beautiful Destin Harbor with Captain Reid Phillips. He is a Destin Fishing Rodeo Captain of the Year in 2015 who runs a federally permitted charter for 6 anglers and offers a variety of charter options. You can book anything from a 4-hour inshore family fun day to a full day of offshore fishing adventures!
Rewind is a classic, updated 46’ Egg Harbor sportfishing boat powered by twin 375 HP John Deere engines, with a maximum cruising speed of 22 knots. This boat features an air-conditioned cabin, comfortable seating, SiriusXM music available, bathroom facilities, and overnight berths.
The galley is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and even a Keurig for those who are as addicted to coffee as they are to fishing. The boat also features a set of outriggers for trolling, a livewell to keep the bait fresh, an icebox to preserve the catch, a GPS, and a fishfinder to locate the schooling fish.
Capt. Reid can take you fishing for a variety of inshore and offshore species, as well as bottom-dwelling reef fish such as Red Snapper, Mingo, and White Snapper. There is also Gag, Black, and Goliath Grouper, Amberjack, Jack Crevalle, Cobia, and King Mackerel. If you decide to go offshore, you can target massive Sailfish, Marlin, Tuna, Wahoo, and Mahi Mahi.
You’ll be provided with rods, reels, tackle, bait, ice, a fishing license, and even a fish cleaning and processing service. Children are more than welcome to join, so bring your kids on a fun adventure and teach them everything about the joys of fishing.

👌🏼 Perfect Family Day to Remember
Captain and Drew did an amazing job on our 5 hour trip. The setup was ideal for our family. If it was just me and a couple buddies, I would have booked a longer trip, but for the first time out with the family, I wasn’t quite sure how they would be. On the way out of Destin, we were followed by several dolphin jumping in our wake. This alone was better than any dolphin tour we’ve ever been on. While fishing, dolphin even jumped out of the water at times. The air conditioned cabin was clutch for the ride out, between spots and the ride back. Kids were able to doze off comfortably between spots. The cabin fit our family well and having a toilet was a major perk. Plenty of room to bring a nice cooler and personal items for the trip. These comforts made it easier on our less adventurous kiddos. We rode out for about an hour and deckhand Drew did an amazing job with our kids helping them learn how to fish. My son pulled in a Spanish mackerel right away! Seeing my boys catch their first fish was priceless. They’ll remember this forever. My wife even caught her first fish, a red snapper. Captain was amazing as he did his best to help us find sweet spots. I’m assuming some days there are a ton of fish and some days it’s more challenging but he did everything he could and we left with a large bag full of snapper filets. The people that blame the captain for the amount of fish they catch… come on man. Disregard any of those reviews, these are the same type of people that will complain in heaven. Can’t imagine how hard it can be to make some clients happy in this industry. Also, for a group of our size, we were more than pleased with the amount of fish we brought back. It’s a workout pulling some of these fish in, so for the kids, they were about tapped out anyways. At home, we fired up the grill and had an amazing spread for dinner. The kids were blown away at the quality and freshness of the fish. To me, this was the perfect day. The kids haven’t stopped talking about it. We can’t thank Captain & Drew enough for creating an experience for my family that they’ll remember forever. These guys are hard workers. As a father, I’m grateful I was able to spend a day on the water teaching and showing my kids the value of a trade, hard work and a different pace of life than mindless entertainment or Disney. What they learned from Captain and Drew, even just watching them work will benefit them moving forward. Well worth the money. We’ll be back. Thank you Rewind crew for so much more than just fishing! 10/10

Another Great Trip on the Rewind
Capt. Dylan once again did not disappoint! The boys and I went out on an 8 hour trip and landed two Wahoo on the way out and fulfilled our Red Snapper quota (and they were big ones!) plus a few other fish variety. If you want a great experience, this is the trip for you. This was our 5th trip on the Rewind and we not only catch fish and create memories but we've made some awesome friends too! Shout out out to Andrew who was patient with us (we kept him super busy!) and thanks again to Captain Dylan (and Capt. Reid) for always making our trips so memorable! Our Rewind tradition is something we always look forward to each year (now twice a year). See you in Oct. for JBs birthday trip. Paul B.
