If you’re ready to go fishing in Clearwater, look no further than Bait House Charters. Captain Brad or Captain Luke will be your guide, bringing aboard unmatchable experience from offshore to inshore and everything in between.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Tarpon, Gag Grouper, Grunt, Redfish, Snook, Speckled Trout, King Mackerel, Snapper, Shark, Hogfish, and whatever else takes the bait. You’ll target your catch by spinning, bottom fishing, or something more specialized in this area. You’re welcome to take home some of the fish you catch, so long as regulations allow it. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner!
Your excursion begins aboard a 22’ Center console with room for 4 passengers. It’s equipped with high-end electronics, Livewell, VHF radio, trolling motor, an icebox for fish, an icebox for all your drinks and snacks, along with all the rods and tackle you would need to have a fun-filled day on the water. The boat is capable of a wide variety of fishing possibilities, from heading offshore to fishing in the intercoastal.

Best day ever

Half day inshore trip with Captain Brad
Brad was very accommodating when we booked him on short notice. He brought us out on his boat and guided us every step of the way, which was so helpful because we are inexperienced. He made the whole experience fun and exciting. He went out early to catch the bait for us to use during our day. Within a minute of our first cast we already had an 80lb Tarpon on the line. They put up quite a fight and it can last a while, but Brad talked us through it step by step and we were able to reel it up in about 30 minutes! He was even able to tell us when it would jump out of the water so we could have the camera ready. After that we were catching Bonita fish one after the other! It was an incredible experience. Bonus points for finding us dolphins and a sea turtle to marvel, too! Based on Brads time, experience, cost for him and the quality of the trip we had - we found the price of this trip more than reasonable. The boat we went on was the smaller of his two, perfect for the two of us and so fun to be speeding through the Gulf. If you book this trip you won’t regret it. Thanks Brad!
