Flats Monster offers exciting adventures out of Clearwater, Florida. They fish the inlets and beaches for world-class saltwater fish species, cruising the flats and up to 9 miles nearshore. Flats Monster specializes in catching Redfish, Tarpon, Snook, Spotted Seatrout, and many other species that the local waters have to offer, and they definitely know where the fish are hiding!

Enjoy your fishing trip with Flats Monster aboard a brand-new 25-foot Sea Hunt center console, which comes powered by a 300 Yamaha engine. It has a maximum cruising speed of 55 knots and can comfortably take up to four guests. Its navigational electronics include a GPS, a VHF radio, and a fish finder. The waters of Gulf Coast are home to a diverse variety of gamefish. Florida’s fishing is a year-round sport with each season offering its own excitement. Whether you want to sight cast for winter Trout and Redfish, target a trophy Spotted Seatrout or have a summertime live bait action for the mighty Tarpon and Snook – Flats Monster will accommodate your every need and make sure your day on the water is a productive one.

Each trip with Flats Monster comes inclusive with everything you need to put your catch together. You will be provided with fly fishing equipment, as well as St.Croix rods, Shimano reels, tackle, lures, live bait, and the fishing licenses for you and your party. Capt. Tyson encourages catch and release fishing, and believes in taking home no more than what’s needed for a meal.

For those who are wanting to get out on the water while visiting the Clearwater beach area but dont want to commit half the day. Captain Tyson will do his best to put you on some fish during your excursion, however this trip is more for the less serious angler and often taking in the sights is the goal with the fish as the bonus! This trip is also available in the afternoon depending on if the boat is already in the water for the day.

Growing up in Northern Utah I gained a love for the outdoors and fishing. I relocated to Florida at age 21, still a kid I did everything I could to understand this new fishery.Fishing for a living has been a dream come true for me. My passion for the sport and owning my own business drives me to go to every effort to offer a quality day to all of my clients. I specialize in light tackle live bait fishing. I educate my anglers in the small details that it takes to fool quality fish on live bait.
