The offshore waters of Aruba offer great fishing for Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Tuna, Kingfish, Amberjack, Barracuda, and more. Using a variety of fishing techniques like bottom fishing, trolling jigging, and drift fishing, you will have the opportunity to target more species and learn at the same time.
The boat is named Carla, and is a 31-foot Bertram sport fisherman fully rigged for big game tournaments. It is a clean and comfortable yacht with an air conditioned interior that includes a toilet and a bed. Together with its excellent equipment and features, and the captain’s fishing and navigating skills, the “Carla” is one of the most successful charter boats for offshore fishing.

Carla Fishing Experience

It was a great day on the Carla! We had an amazing time fishing and can't thank Rudolph, Juan and their crew enough for the guide and experience. Rudolph and crew had strong expertise and knowledge to give us an experience we will never forget. Rudolph and his lead deck hand worked hard the entire time to allow us to focus on what we came to do, and that was to fish. We caught Mahi Mahi and Barracuda and afterwards the crew filleted our fish on the dock followed by Lucy's restaurant cooking it up for our lunch. A true sea to plate moment. We highly recommend the Carla and their crew!

From the moment we stepped onto the dock in the early morning light, it was clear that our day with *Carla* was going to be something special. The crew greeted us with smiles, energy, and professionalism that never wavered throughout the day. Every detail was taken care of, allowing us to focus on what we came for—epic fishing!
We caught a great variety of fish, including beautiful Mahi Mahi and feisty Bonita. The real MVP of the day was the first mate, Rudolph, who worked tirelessly—truly nonstop—to get us on the fish and make sure every moment was memorable. His passion, knowledge, and enthusiasm were unmatched.
The icing on the cake? At the end of a full day on the water, Rudolph filleted our freshly caught Mahi Mahi, and we headed over to Lucy's Bar and Grill. There, they cooked it up for us to perfection—talk about ocean-to-table! It was easily one of the best meals we've ever had, made all the more special by the fact that we caught it ourselves.
We can't recommend *Carla* Fishing Charters enough. Whether you're an experienced angler or just out for a new adventure, this is the kind of day that stays with you long after the sun sets over the Aruban horizon.

The trip was fun. The Carla crew really made an effort to ensure we enjoyed ourselves and caught fish. It was the easiest fishing I've ever done, felt pretty spoiled. They baited, casted and took the fish off then cleaned them! We opted to have some of them cooked and served at the restaurant on the pier and it was perfect. If you're looking for independence I recommend renting a boat on your own but if you're looking for a stress free adventure I recommend this one! *Deep sea tour might not be good if prone to seasickness but I think they'll stay near shore if you request it. We would go on this boat again. Thanks guys,

Captain Ponson had an untimely injury requiring medical care but he referred us to a colleague who took good care of us with no change in price or scheduling. We caught some fish, lost some fish, had a great time. Also caught my first ever frigate (bird) on a rod and reel. Took a little time and nursing but the bird survived and eventually took back to the air!

Excellent morning with the crew. The fellas were on point and ready to assist at the blink of an eye. Put us on some awesome MAHI and Barracuda. Also a filet master as it was bone free. Definatly recommend taking the catch to Lucy's as it was incredible. The trip and Lucy's were defiantly worth the cost. Recommend both to all.
