Triple D Charter offers quality inshore and Backcountry trips on the pristine flats of Islamorada, Florida. Captain Aaron 'Nick' Dykes is a stand-up captain who likes to take his guests to the most advantageous spots and make their fishing dreams come true. His skill and knowledge are extraordinary and he is great with kids! You couldn't really ask for more!
Fishing is done aboard a 24' South Shore center console, originally built in 2016 with a capacity for 4 guests. Powered by a 300 HP Suzuki engine, this vessel is perfect to access the shallow flats and take open deep bay crossings. The GPS and fishfinder are used to locate the most productive spots, and the super shallow ones are accessed using the wireless trolling motor.
Triple D provides spinning rods, reels, live bait and lures for a successful day out on the water.
The captain will clean, fillet, and bag you catch. He says kids within age are permitted on the trips, but please specify when booking to ensure the correct size of life vest is prepared in advance, or you can bring your own for children under 6.

Great day on the water!

Went on 6 hr trip with Capt. Nick. Weather was great and no big seas. Capt. Nick was right on time. The snook bite had been slow lately so we tried for Sea Trout to start off. We were one of the first to the spot and we were into fish from the start. We fished for specks for a while and the bite was pretty good. Lots of action. I wanted to try for snook so we headed off to the mangroves. We tried a couple different spots but the snook didn't want to cooperate. That's why they call it "fishing" and not "catching". I had a great time and would highly reccommend Capt. Nick. and Triple D. When I come back I would book with him again.

Breat boat for inshore fishing. Comfortable options to sit or fish. He knows where there are some prime spots to catch fish. We limited out 3 people in a few hours. Would definitely recommend !

Capn Nick is a likeable, competent guide who put us in several good fishing spots, had comfortable, safe, well -working boat and equipment. He baited and rerigged the reels and provided cold water,answered all questions and gave good advice.
