Backcountry 3/4 day (4 ppl max) • 2 adultsMy wife and I went out the Capt. Aaron for a 6 hour trip and the action was pretty consistent throughout the day though we did not run into many keepers. We hit the bridges, mangroves, and patch reefs where we caught a variety of different species including a few larger lookdown/moon fish that were surprisingly delicious after we had them fried up at Lazy Days when we left the marina. My wife also hooked into a permit that unfortunately broke off a few mintues into the fight but definitely added some excitement for the day. Overall, we had a great day on the water and I cannot recommend Aaron enough!

Backcountry 3/4 day (4 ppl max) • 2 adultsMy Son and I had a great day on the water with Captain Nick. The boat was great as was the gear, tackle, and rigging. Captain Mick new the the well and was very informative, which I very much appreciated. We had action at every spot and brought good fish on the boat, Mutton, Mangrove, and jack crevalle just to name a few. Id recommend Triple D Charters to anyone looking to both catch fish on a nice boat with a comfortable ride all while learning about the area from a very personable Captain. Thank you again Captain Nick, Logan and I had a blast!

Backcountry 3/4 day (4 ppl max) • 2 adultsAaron tried his best to put us on spots for Grouper, Mangrove Reds and Tarpon. Grouper beat us, Mangrove Reds bit - just not big enough, Tarpon sightings but sharks were faster to the bait. Aaron looped back for a second try for grouper, but tide and winds were just not our friends tidsy. One recommendation I would have is to understand tide and be flexible to alter the start time of your trip to maximize your chances. While we did not come home with dinner in the cooler is was a gorgeous day out on the water.

Backcountry 3/4 day (4 ppl max) • 4 adultsWe had some bad weather roll in. The captain offered to reschedule, but we couldn't because we had to go home the next day. We went out and he did everything he could, but the weather just got too bad. We did catch several Mangrove Snapper even though we were only able to fish for a couple of hours. I will try to book another trip with him in the future.

Backcountry 3/4 day (4 ppl max) • 2 adultsMeet up with the Captain (Aaron Dykes). 15 minutes later we were on the fish. Wife wanted a " pink one". And she got one. She caught a Hogfish. I Hooked up on two awesome Permit- landed one. 15 lb +/- . Finished up trying for Tarpon. Caught a Bonnethead. It was a great day on the water. Captain diffently knowledgeable. Will definitely book again if I get back down here

What's biting with Triple D Charter in Islamorada
The fall is the best time of year to fish the flats in Islamorada, and you'll see this in September. With fewer crowds, lots of Bonefish and Permit on the flats, and Snook in the mangroves, you're in for a treat.
