George was great, and knew where to go to catch fish. When one place dried up, he actively found another place to ensure we could catch more. He was also very attentive in helping to keep hooks baited for those that might not have been too crazy about the process, or to help handle the fish that were caught. And I know there are no guarantees for a grand finale like we had, but one of our group of 4 was able to reel in a decent sized shark all the way to the boat before having to let it go, right at the tail end of our trip! Would recommend!

started out windy and rough making bottom fish difficult but calmed down a little later in the trip. Crew worked extremely hard and tried really hard to put us on larger fish. We did manage to boat some keepers. Deck hand did an awesome job filleting our catch! the wind and fish were a little uncooperative but crew did everything possible to make us successful.

Our Captain was experienced and very knowledgeable. He was very quick and helpful, we each caught over 10 fish each and had a blast. I would highly recommend this trip to everyone!

Just had an OUTSTANDING 4 hour morning Gulf fishing trip out of Shalimar/Ft Walton Beach. I’m 64, and I was taking my 8 year old grandson on his first ever fishing trip. I was a little concerned about that being in the Gulf. I’ve been “deep sea” fishing many times since I was my grandson’s age — many different ways. I’ve tried party boats, private boats with friends and relatives, and chartering boats for small family groups. But, I don’t think I could have asked for a better trip — especially for my grandson’s first experience fishing. Working through the FishingBooker app was easy. I was fortunate to choose these folks and this trip. The communication with Robert and Brooke was excellent from the beginning — including an initial discussion of my situation and getting Robert’s recommendation on the best trip for us. I received all the info, directions, etc we needed. They were on time and prepared. The boat was well equipped. In over 55 years of going on various trips, many very nice, this was the most enjoyable experience I’ve had. Robert, Brooke, and Daniel were friendly and worked hard the entire trip to make things go smoothly. This was a 4 hour Gulf trip, but we spent more time actually fishing than I ever have on any other “half day” trip, or even on most full day trips. We caught plenty of fish, including several pretty big snappers, a few grouper, our limit of mango snappers, and a number of various fish that were out of season or outside size limits (just what you’d expect in the Gulf). I had anticipated “overseeing” my grandson, but Robert took him under his wing and worked with him wherever we dropped our lines. Robert even took some pictures and videos while working with my grandson which he sent me after the trip. Very thoughtful. Brooke worked with me keeping bait on and giving advice and recommendations. I just haven’t gotten that level of friendly “close support” before. When we got back, Robert and Daniel quickly cleaned and bagged our fish while Brooke prepped the boat for their next group leaving right away for an afternoon trip. My grandson thoroughly enjoyed himself. So did I, but this was really for him. I was entirely pleased. It was a great experience, and I highly recommend Robert, Brooke, and Daniel. Great job!

We booked the 4 hour trip to let my young kids get a taste of ocean fishing. Prior to the trip, communication with Brooke was fast and helpful. Morning of the trip, everything was on time. We stopped and let the kids catch some bait fish, before heading out to deeper water. They had a lotnofnfun catching cigar minnows, sometimes 5 at a time. Once we moved out to deeper waters Robert and George took good care of us and were great with my kids. We caught fish and had a great time. Both kids said they wanted to go again. I recommend booking with Have Fun and Robert.

Robert and Brooke were great hosts. We had two adults and two 9 yo kids and they made sure the boys were catching fish all day. We went off shore for a morning charter and were able to pull in a good size mangrove snapper and red fish. Had some other good sized catches but were unable to keep them due to size and season. One of the boys got a little sea sick and they were very accommodating. They made sure we had plenty of Gatorade and water and took care of cleaning and filleting our catch when finished. They recommended Anglers at the pier for our cook and catch and needless to say our dinner was excellent. We charter each year we come to the beach and this was one of the best experiences we’ve had. Highly recommended.

Great day fishing, this was our first time deep sea fishing and did not disappoint! We caught several different kinds of fish and caught our limit in what we could take home. We only wanted a meal, which was cleaned so well - no bones! We caught a shark which was pretty exciting. I liked that they baited my hook and took anything I caught off my hook. Provided us many locations to check our luck. Totally recommend to anyone!

My wife and I had the opportunity to go and are both very happy we did. Our first ever charter. Captain Robert is a total professional. Very patient with us while we learned about salt water fish. Extremely attentive to every possible detail of our trip. A week after Hurricane Helene, so the fish were slow he told us. But we still had several catches. And a variety of fish as well. Captain Robert and Brooke were outstanding. They contacted us a week before the trip letting us know that the weather didn’t look good. We stayed in contact and pushed our trip to a beautiful day. Within seconds of dropping our lines, we were pulling up 2 fish for each cast. Ended up with 30 red snapper. Just a great day overall.
