Captain Brian Soucy founded Semper Fi Charters to spread his love and passion for fishing in Fernandina Beach. His goal is to share this area and its amazing fishing with people from all over the country. Explore the incredible nearshore waters and secluded bays to see what Florida fishing is all about!
You’ll spend the day aboard Capt. Brian’s 22’ Young flats boat, which has room aboard for up to 4 guests. Freshly-built in 2017, she provides a stable and reliable fishing platform, and her shallow draft allows you to get deep into the skinny waters where the best fish lurk.
The vessel comes equipped with the latest electronics to track down your catch, a trolling motor for sneaking through the shallows in silence, and high-quality tackle to give you the upper hand once you sink your hook.
You’ll fish for a range of species depending on the time of year, and as such you will be given different options to best bring in whatever you are targeting. So whether you’re looking for a morning catching some tasty Trout with the family, or a full day in search of Silver Kings, you can rely on fishing in the right place with the right equipment!
Capt. Brian provides a choice of light and heavy tackle complemented by a selection of lures and live bait. You’ll have the option to spin, jig, or sight cast your way to some awesome fish!
At the end of your trip, Captain Brian will also clean and fillet all your catch so it’s ready to eat when you get home. You will definitely have worked up an appetite, so bring a big cooler and get ready for the tastiest fish you have ever had!

Half day tarpon.
Ive taken many charters across different states, and I fish out of Fernandina regularly. One of the best guides ive rolled out with. Could tell his hearts invested, and really wants to see his clients have a successful day. Nice boat and solid equipment. Would recommend for all experience levels

Great Day on the water
We had a great day out on the water and greatly enjoyed our trip. Captain Brian was great and worked with our youngest while giving us all tips to be successful. We caught 6 species of fish including 3 species of sharks while catching a total of over 30 fish between our family of 4. Greatly recommend and would absolutely book again in the future.

Great Day with Capt. Brian and Semper Fi Charters!
We had a fabulous time out on the water with Capt. Brian. He was very knowledgeable and patient with us since we were relatively inexperienced fishermen.
