Coastal Fishing Charters 

We Fish in the Ocean not around the docks in the inner harbor like some of the other Gloucester charter boats! Also we don’t use a rubber hose and a seaworm to try and catch fish! We use live bait on all trips if possible. Coastal Fishing Charters brings you a variety of fishing to choose from. From Sharks offshore, to nearshore fishing for Cod and Haddock. Looking for Striped Bass? Yep, they have it too. It is our specialty! All that’s left for you to do is to choose your trip!

This charter is operated by Captain Nick Danikas, who set out into the world of fishing at age 10. Since then, he has sailed back and forth, delivering goosebump on every trip. He loves to see kids reel in their first catch and has plenty of skills to assist seasoned anglers on their quest for some big game.

Hop aboard his 35’ Terry Jason boat, restored in 2017, and start your search in the waters surrounding Gloucester, MA. She can accommodate up 6 anglers and is equipped with top-of-the-line navigational equipment.
This isn’t just about the chase, but comfort as well. You’ll also find a toilet, bed, kitchen, and multimedia system on board.

Depending on the species you target, you’ll be fishing at different distances and use a variety of techniques. Bottom fishing, popping, jigging, kite, or fly fishing – you name it.

The trip rates include rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait. At the end of the day, your catch will be cleaned and filleted too. Make sure to bring some snacks, drinks, and sunglasses. With all the chase going around, a camera is always welcome – why miss capturing a 10’ Shark?

Capt. Nick has a first mate on board to assist with everything on your trip. He works hard to make sure you have a good time and as such, a 20% gratuity will be added onto the final balance.
