The Mar Dos Navegantes is a 36' Rodman 1100 that's powered by twin 350HP Volvo engines. Whether you're looking to stay closer inshore or head some miles off, she's more than capable and ready. She's outfitted with all the necessary safety and navigation equipment, including a toilet, to ensure comfort on longer trips.
Cascais is an area well known for its large and plentiful fish, including some really big Sharks. Expect to encounter species like Permit, Cod, Grouper, Snapper, Seabass, and more besides. From family fun to big game battles, you'll be able to plan out your dream fishing trip in these waters.
All trips come with fishing licenses, so you won't have to waste time getting hold of one. The crew will also provide you with all the necessary rods, reels, and tackle, along with drinks and snacks for the trip. My family along with some friends came to Cascais from Texas, yes Texas for a friend's wedding. We wanted to work in some time to experience fishing in Portugal. There was a hiccup after our booking where we were asked to change times, but we couldn't. Somehow the charter company worked it out and we were able to go. We all had the best time-abundant fishing, prefect weather and our captain was extremely friendly and first mate, Miguel was the best! He was friendly, had lots of fishing tips, stories, and a great sense of humor. All the conversation along with catching fish consistently during our 3 hours on the water made the time fly by. Would highly recommend and if we are ever back, we would use them again.
We caught octopus, red snapper, mackerel, sargo, faneca, serrano. One of the octopus was so big that I broke the fishing rod, the crew were great, helpful and professional. I went with my 3 sons, they all caught fish and we enjoyed the trip.

Their English language skills might not be 100 per cent but their hospitality and skills double up for that. Go for it! we caught 16 fish in two hours. two of them were octopus.
We had a great morning with steady action. We really enjoyed talking and interacting with the crew. They worked hard to keep the lines baited and in the water. I would definitely recommend this boat and crew.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
