Species like Weakfish, Gilt-head (Seabream), Blue Shark, European Seabass, Gray Triggerfish, and more inhabit these waters if conditions are right. You'll target your catch by trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Afonso welcomes you aboard a 23' Caravelle center console with a capacity for 5 (ideal number ) but can be increased passengers, and you can always decide who is going to take the fish. 🚨Normally we fish always with 5 rods just to avoid to many lines
It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods and reels are covered by the charter, but feel free to bring your own. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor and glass bottles. We dont do BBQ on the boat, we have a simple
Snacks catering. We have a fee, that can be charge if bring your own things. Please confirm with the capitan.
Is illegal to fish at night at estuary.

We couldn’t have asked for a better fishing trip! The captain was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and patient—especially with my 13-year-old son. He made the entire experience fun and enjoyable from start to finish. We caught tons of fish and five different species—so many that we could barely keep up! The boat was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, the location was fantastic, and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. It was an amazing day all around, and we truly couldn’t say enough good things about the experience. We would absolutely book this trip again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great day on the water!

You don't need to be an angler to love this trip. Our five year old had been wanting to go fishing and since we were taking him to Portugal, figured this would be fun for him. It BEYOND exeeded our expectations! The communication with Captain Afonso was consistent and accommodating. He is very knowledgeable. When the waves were choppy heading out he suggested we push it back a little to make things easier which was very much appreciated. While fishing, Captain Afonso was great with out son and really made the trip about him - always passing the the rod our son and letting him reel the fish in. Captain explained everything so well and you really see and appreciate his passion for fishing. He even reached out to a local restaurant where we could take the fish to have it cooked for us. This was by far the highlight of our son's first trip to Portugal.

Captain Eduardo was amazing! Don’t let him fool you, his English is much better than my Portuguese, and sufficient for these purposes. He had water (ambient temp.) and crackers he gladly shared with us. Our 15 yo son is an avid fisherman, mostly fishing for bass in Nor Cal lakes. We booked the Tagus Estuary trip because our other son gets sea sick. The estuarial bay was very calm, flat at times, and we had lots of action. We caught 20, landed about 15. We caught mainly “Atlantic Kruger fish” and one other type of Kruger fish. Both my sons had a great time, Mom and Dad enjoyed watching their teens get along amd even SMILE! This is no frills, which is our preference, as we want the “show” to be catching fish and we didn’t book a tour with a picnic at the end, which worked great for us. This is our second time using Fishing Booker (last time in HI) and it is reliable and helpful for finding local fisherman to take small groups fishing. Would happily fish with Captain Eduardo again!

We had an absolute blast on our trip, entirely thanks to Captain Eduardo. He knows these waters like the back of his hand and put us right on the action immediately. We ended up catching 6 massive fish in just 2 hours! The boat was great, the energy was high, and the experience was top-notch from start to finish. I highly recommend Lisbon Fish to anyone visiting the area and definitely ask for Captain Eduardo if you want an unforgettable, action-packed day on the water!

Alfonso is clearly someone who loves his work. He is calm, informative, great guide, patient and professional. We had a fantastic day. We caught so much fish, we had to start throwing them back into the water. We booked a four hour experience and the time flew by so fast. Overall, it was a great experience and something different. Just to know, the last time I went fishing was 10yrs ago but we all were just within the hour relaxed and not and enjoying reeling in the fish.. For complete fishing novices, we had a great catch, thanks to Alfonso.
