Alternatively, participants can choose to cover the total cost themselves.
We have fishing licenses available at the boat !is mandarory to have licenses for everyone
The price: 20 euros each.
Species like Weakfish, Gilt-head (Seabream), Blue Shark, European Seabass, Gray Triggerfish, and more inhabit these waters if conditions are right. You'll target your catch by trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Afonso welcomes you aboard a 23' Caravelle center console with a capacity for 5 (ideal number ) but can be increased passengers, and you can always decide who is going to take the fish.
It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods and reels are covered by the charter, but feel free to bring your own. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor and glass bottles. We dont do BBQ bit we do catering. We have a fee of 50€ if tou bring your own things.
The schedule of the trip will be decide by the Capitan , so ask him always about that !
Is illegal to fish at night at estuary, and staying there ate night because we have gate schedules .
please always talk about the schedule with us first, bevause you can select a hour that is already blocked with other group since we work with many apps os fishing.

Half Day Trip – Tagus Estuary
Easy day with a good captain
We did an afternoon estuary trip in July and everything was easy and successful. We brought 8 people but only had 5 poles in the water fishing. It’s a center console with a nice bench up front. Nothing too luxurious but good for our crew of 4 adults and 4 kids. We only hit a could have fish early but in the last 45 min the bites just kept coming. Captain was great. He knew about the fish and water system and was helpful to the younger passengers new to fishing. When we looked up we were past the end time since the fish kept coming. The captain was happy to stay out to keep the fun going. Great day, thank you!

Great Fishing Trip
Me and my partner did the 2 hour afternoon session and it was great. Afonso is very knowledgeable when it comes to the water and fishing, and takes his time explaining how to fish. My partner had never been fishing before and she caught many fish, and we were happy with how many fish we got in such a short amount of time. Afonso also took time to tell us what sites to see and recommended many places to visit while in Lisbon. Highly recommend

Afonso is the best!
Had a great 4 hour afternoon charter with Afonso, who was patient with us as we got tied up with a delayed flight and were a bit late. He was extremely polite and interesting to chat with as he gave us a few pointers and explained how and why we were fishing his way. Well, his way is awesome because he put us on a bunch of fish, and we landed around 15 catches of 5 different species, including a shark! Just had the best time and would definitely go back out with Afonso again as soon as we can make it back to Portugal. Half Day Trip – Tagus Estuary
Nice and exiting day.
It was a very great day. The captain was punctual, very helpful and really left no wish unfulfilled. As an angler, I can say that the captain has a lot of experience and knows what he is doing. So on the third attempt he was able to find a large school of fish. We were able to catch a lot and many different fish. Seatrout, perch, a conger and even a shark. The captain also explained a lot and helped our child (6 years old) catch a lot of fish. It was a very nice day.

Great time fishing!
Great fishing experience in the Tejo estuary! Everything was well organized — captain was professional and friendly, the boat was comfortable, and the equipment was good. We caught some nice fish and really enjoyed the time on the water. Beautiful views, fresh air, and a relaxing atmosphere — couldn't ask for more. Thanks for the great trip, we'll definitely be back!
