Capt. Sully Charters strives to make your fishing experience memorable on the waters of Panama City, Florida. Captain Brian Sullivan is an avid fisherman and a great teacher who really enjoys seeing his guests happy. This is what makes him happy, and he always gives his best to making everyone’s trip successful.
Fishing is done aboard a 21' Carolina Skiff, which has T-top for shade and a capacity for 4 persons. The vessel is powered by a 140 HP engine which makes it fast and stable, with a maximum cruising speed of 30 knots. The onboard GPS and fishfinder will reveal the productive spots, the livewell will hold the bait, and the icebox will keep your catch fresh.
On the nearshore trips, which run up to 9 miles out, you could catch a wide variety of fish – Red Snapper, King Mackerel, Triggerfish, Vermillion Snapper, Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, and Grouper. On the inshore trips, a whole other variety of fish is available such as Redfish, Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Black Drum, and Sheepshead.
The captain provides a fishing license for up to 4 people, as well as all rods, reels, and tackle, bait, and a cooler with ice for your beverages.
Capt. Brian says he can also customize your trip any way you want it – a little bit of sightseeing, or dock and dine, maybe take a fishing rod or two?!
It’s up to you, but one thing’s for sure – you’ll make valuable fishing memories with Capt. Sully Charters!

Let’s just say Captain delivered. Absolutely a great fisherman. We spoke the night before to set some expectations and discuss what I wanted as a customer. Our trip was supposed to be from 7 AM to 11 AM. We arrived at 6:45 and immediately got on the boat and headed out . We did the nearshore bottom fishing and caught a crazy amount of fish. Not many keepers, but that wasn’t the assignment. My 12 year-olds first trip and he probably caught 50 fish. Captain kept him baited up and he was reeling them in two at a time. On top of that we caught a variety including trigger, snapper, grouper, b liner, and a little highlight of bonita. It’s not about what you take home at the end of the day. It’s about the patience with kids, great conversation, and effort put into giving us an experience. Captain had no issue giving us a little extra time and then even ran us over to the barbecue boat on Shell Island for some grub! This was the perfect four man trip. Book Sully today before someone else does!
glad ya had a great time hope to see ya again soon
Capt Sully was patient and took time to teach us (our first trip off shore). Meet up location was easy. Good conversation of our goals and current bite to match up. Sully was awesome with my 17 old son first saltwater experience. We caught red snapper, grouper and trigger fish. Capt was very knowledgeable of reel limits and seasons. Even took time to explain sonar, tides, depths, structure, etc. would gladly recommend Capt Sully
thank you glad ya had fun whats its about learning and having fun
Capt Sully was exactly what we hoped for. Fantastic man and a perfect guide. There was 3 of us and his boat was a good fit. Don’t be worried about his 21’ boat. the set up made it nice and since its a flat bottom boat, it took the waves superb. we’d definitely book again! Thanks Capt!
thank you glad i got to go fishing with ya hope to see ya soon

We came down for some bonding time on the water and Captain Brian put us on the fish. We caught some snapper and a Mahi with many red groupers just under size. Great time off shore and quality time with my son.
had a great time with ya hope to go fishing with ya again soon
My sons and I were scheduled for a deep sea trip with Cap’n Brian. The ocean was too rough for us to go fishing on the reef and out in the gulf. 3-5 swales kept us in the bay trolling for Spanish mackerel. Cap’n Brian worked his tail off trying to put us on fish. We caught some lady fish and had some of the mackerel on the line but they found a way to get off the hook. My sons and I had a great trip even though we did t get to go In The gulf. I do believe Cap’N Brian was disappointed that we couldn’t go in the gulf and was disappointed that we didn’t get to put a keeper in the boat. We appreciated all the hard work the cap’n put in. I would recommend Cap’n Brian and the Cap’n Sully fishing charters.
