Wild Thing Charters 

Went for the 4hr moring trip. eater fish hadnt been good lately so captain recommended going for the golaiths. we had a great time catching 12-15 fish that were all super fun, we didnt even land the 2 biggest. first hand/son worked really hard the entire time. we only used 1 reel for the 4 of us, but trading turns worked well and the fish were so big it would have been very difficult to handle 2 at same time. everyone in our group left with a smile and agreed we’d all do this trip again anytime. wouldnt hesitate to book with them again.

We absolutely enjoyed our 4hrs fishing trip! it was fun, exciting and memorable! We caught some great fish and our Capitan Randy Hamilton was awesome! He navigated us through out our whole experience, he was fun, professional, educative and fun ! We are looking forward to our next adventure.

Had a great time fishing with Captain Randy and Henry…. Great crew!! We caught a large grouper, 75+ lbs. and caught enough mackerel to make dinner for the family. Would definitely recommend this charter and can’t wait to come back.

We had an incredible half day of fishing with Captain Randy and First Mate Hutch. We departed the dock at 7:30am. Once out in the Gulf, Captain Randy located a school of bait fish and with one throw of the cast net we had more than enough bait for our fishing adventure. We quickly motored to the first fishing spot where Randy put us on a variety of species of game fish. We moved to a second spot where we continued to catch game fish but started catching sharks. We ended the morning at a third spot where Captain Randy put us directly over a school of Goliath Grouper. It was an incredible 4 hours of fishing with very little down time. Captain Randy has 30 years of experience in the Gulf off the coast of Marco Island. Understanding that not every day of fishing is the same, I am convinced that I would have the best chance of catching fish with Captain Randy. Captain Randy's first mate Hutch was awesome. Hutch is very knowledgeable and will work hard to keep your hook baited. A quick note about the boat, the boat has a wide beam and is very stable in the open water. There is plenty of open deck space and the hardtop provides shade at all times of day. I cannot thank Randy and Hutch enough for an amazing day of fishing. A note to the captain - Randy & Hutch - Jason and Mike from Chicago can't thank you enough for an epic day of fishing. Best of luck in the future and tight lines...

Wild Thing Charter is fantastic! What a great experience! Captain Randy put us on fish first thing and it continued all through our trip. First mate Hutch kept bait on, pulling fish off, taking pictures, and telling fishin’ tales, assuring we had a fun trip. Highly recommend Wild Thing Charter! Our family of four had a great time aboard the Wild Thing Charters as we spent a morning half day with Capt. Randy. He was great with the kids, full of information, and helped us achieve our goal of fish caught to be taken home and cook fresh. Only regret was not doing a longer day on the boat. Next time!

My family visits Marco Island every year and we love trying new fishing charters! Captain Randy with Wild Thing Charters exceeded every expectation we had and we will absolutely be using him for our fishing needs when we return. Our charter was set to begin at 8am and we arrived at the marina at 7:40. Captain Randy was there ready to load the boat and the coolers to get us on our way. Our first stop was for bait fish where we got to see Randy expertly cast a net and bring in plenty of bait fish for our entire trip. While he was doing this, we got to see sea turtles and dolphins! Over the course of the day, we caught and released many fish - cobia, shark, various grouper species, and even a 130 lb Tarpon that was jumping like crazy and gave us a run for our money! Before we started the trip, we told him we wanted action & big fish and he delivered! His first mate was awesome in helping the older people on our boat reel in some HUGE fish. Outside of the fishing, the boat was clean, captain and first mate were knowledgeable, and there was a private bathroom. Can’t say enough great things about them and can’t wait for our next trip!
