Wild Thing Charters
Wild Thing Charters invites all anglers, first-time fishers, and eager souls to come aboard! You'll be going on fishing trips around the waters that surround Marco Island, Florida. These waters boast some of the finest fishing year-round.
Captain Randy has 25 years of experience fishing around the area. He fell in love with the island during his first stay and decided to come back. Since then, he's been taking scores of anglers and novice fishers on trips. He knows how to get around wrecks, natural and numerous man-made reefs. Such scenery makes fishing even more alluring, as the fish like to hide and swim here.
Trips with Wild Thing Charters start on board a 30' Island Hopper, a boat made for offshore sports fishing, but still able to land fish in nearshore waters. It can take up to 6 anglers and provide them with enough space to try out various techniques. The boat is equipped with reliable GPS and a fishfinder to make more of your time.
Light or heavy tackle, bottom fishing, spinning, jigging, or drift fishing – all at your disposal. All the gear is supplied on board, and there's live bait and lures as well. If you stay close to the coast, you'll target Tarpon and Shark. A little further off, Cobia, Kingfish, Snapper, and Grouper galore!
The fishing license is part of the deal, so you can just come along and give your best shot. Life jackets and other safety equipment are also provided, so feel free to bring minors. You can release or keep the fish you catch. The captain will gladly clean and fillet it for you, so you can take it home and have a tasty meal.
A variety of trips to choose from is made to meet most schedules. Be it morning or afternoon, you'll surely find a time slot that works best for you. Before the trip, put on adequate clothes, sunscreen, shades, and other stuff you might need – and then head straight for that fish!
Join Wild Thing Charters and have some serious fun fishing the prolific waters of Florida!

Went for the 4hr moring trip. eater fish hadnt been good lately so captain recommended going for the golaiths. we had a great time catching 12-15 fish that were all super fun, we didnt even land the 2 biggest. first hand/son worked really hard the entire time. we only used 1 reel for the 4 of us, but trading turns worked well and the fish were so big it would have been very difficult to handle 2 at same time. everyone in our group left with a smile and agreed we’d all do this trip again anytime. wouldnt hesitate to book with them again.

thank you

My family and I had an amazing day fishing! Not only did ww catch fish, but we caught a variety of them, from start to finish. Would definitely recommend them. We will be back again!!!!
We absolutely enjoyed our 4hrs fishing trip! it was fun, exciting and memorable! We caught some great fish and our Capitan Randy Hamilton was awesome! He navigated us through out our whole experience, he was fun, professional, educative and fun ! We are looking forward to our next adventure.

thank very much!
Had a great time fishing with Captain Randy and Henry…. Great crew!! We caught a large grouper, 75+ lbs. and caught enough mackerel to make dinner for the family. Would definitely recommend this charter and can’t wait to come back.
Fun afternoon fishing with great folks. Numerous keepers and a lot of throw backs which made the whole trip enjoyable. Jake and Henry made it an easy great afternoon finding the bite. Hope to see them again on future trips Steve

thank you very much! my name is Randy.
I first came to Marco Island in 1984 on vacation and like so many others fell instantly in love with the area. I moved to Marco in 1987 became a Scuba Diving instructor and opened a full service retail Dive Shop called Aqua Adventures. I have logged over 1000 dives offshore of Marco Island, which gives me unique perspective of all the wrecks artificial reefs and natural reefs in the area. I have always been a avid fisherman so it was a easy decision to start running some fishing charters to keep the boat busy over time the fishing charters took over and here I am 30 years later.
