Had an amazing time out on the lake with Bob catching salmon and trout. We caught three fish two salmon and one trout which was great considering that it is the end of the season (mid October) and the conditions were tough. Captain Bob assured us that he would try his best to put us on some fish. His experience really showed when the bites started to explode. In between landing our three fish we had wonderful conversations, took pictures of the city’s skyline, and just enjoyed being out on the water. If I could pass on any advice it would be to make sure you’re prepared for the day with possible rain jackets if there’s a chance of rain and waterproof shoes, they really made a difference. To sum up the experience this was the best fishing charter I’ve been on so far and will book again if I get the chance.

This was our first time experiencing deep lake fishing and we must admit it was quite enthralling. Captain Bob was thoroughly professional and his experience shines through when talking about all things lakes and fish. He helped us land a near record 25-pound King Salmon, which we had to set free since it was considered spawning size. However the entire adventure was truly worth it, starting with palpable excitement, conversation moments, moments of frustration and finally the big reel at the end. I would recommend Captain Bob’s services particularly for the value for money and knowledge that comes with it.

This trip was booked as a 27th birthday gift for my brother and it was the perfect gift for the true fisherman. Me and my brother spent a half a day on bobs fishing charter. He was a very nice easy going person who can go with the flow of conversation. Not only that he has some serious fishing skills and a drive to get you some damn fish on the line. I caught my first ever salmon…even tho it was a baby. And my brother caught his first lake trout (a ten pounder.) All in all it was a great day on the water and I can’t wait to go again.

Trip was delayed 1 hour because of horrible weather. We trolled with 2 to 4 lines depending on waves and current. We caught 2 fish, one small salmon that we released and a very nice 17.8 pound lake trout that was really tasty. We lost another big trout near the boat because tge line broke while Captain Bob was trying to get it in the net. We lost 2 other fish because me and my brother we not good enough at watching our lines. Capitain Bob is full of knowledge and has safety in mind.

Parking is plentifull and free. Launching site is really easy to find.

Have 5 hours trip with captain Bob. It was my first experience with salmon fishing. despite the fact that the salmon fishing season is almost over, we found our 11 lb king salmon in Ontario.  Bob knows very well where to look for fish.  very interesting and educational fishing.  I am impressed.  Recommend this captain to everyone!  next year I will definitely go fishing in the fishing season!
