Thoddoo Inn - Blue Marlin invites you to join Captain Adam aboard the Blue Marlin for a true fishing adventure in the Maldives. Located on the Thoddoo Island and surrounded with an abundance of fish that populate the Indian Ocean, this charter is dedicated to providing their guests with exciting fishing opportunities.
Fishing in Thoddoo is excellent from the end of September through the end of March. During this period, the water temperatures rise and attract a lot of big game fish like Marlin, Tuna, Wahoo, Sailfish, Barracuda, Mahi Mahi, Swordfish, Trevally, Snapper, Grouper, and more. You will mostly troll for big fish.
The Blue Marlin is armed with two powerful 150 HP Four Stroke outboard Mercury engines, with a maximum cruising speed of 38 knots. The boat can dash from one fishing hot spot to the next in a flash, guaranteeing a productive fishing trip. It is equipped with a fish finding electronics, safety gear, snorkeling equipment, a livewell for the live bait, and a sound system for entertainment.
Thoddoo Inn - Blue Marlin crew will provide you with rods, reels, tackle, artificial and live bait, a fishing license, and they even have food and drinks available. Once your trip is over, your catch can be processed for you to take to a local restaurant and made into a nice dinner. Alternatively, a barbeque grill awaits at the shore to grill your catch mixed with tasty Maldivian bbq paste.
