Vulcan Charters, Inc.
Vulcan Charters, brings you action-packed offshore fishing from Ponce Inlet. The Vulcan is located at Lighthouse Marina, there is no shorter ride out the inlet, which means less time getting there and more time fishing.
Only a short drive from World Famous Daytona Beach, Port Orange, New Smyrna and Ormond Beach.
Captain Cody started fishing these waters on his 5th birthday, from that moment on he has been studying on the water to become the fisherman he is today. Being trained by the original owner Capt. Rick, who still charters trips, and has 57 years of experience; he knows how to run a safe and fun charter.
Meeting at the Lighthouse Marina, you will be welcome aboard the 29ft Regulator center console, powered by twin 250 HP Yamaha four stroke engines, and cruises 20+ knots! A fast and comfortable vessel, matched with only a 5 minute ride out of the inlet. Lines will be wet in no time.
The Vulcan is equipped with downriggers, outriggers, and ample deck space for trolling. Underway, we target King Mackerel, Wahoo, Mahi-mahi, Sailfish, and Tuna; up to 50 miles at sea.
Reef and Wreck fishing, near shore all the way to the Gulf Stream. We will target Snapper, Grouper, Cobia, Triggerfish, Sharks and many other dinner dishes.
The Vulcan has enough dry space to store all belongings and cooler for food separate from the fish. We will clean, filet, and bag your catch at the end of the day. While you enjoy the clean amenities, views and ice cream from Lighthouse Ice Cream Parlor.
Kids over 8 years of age are welcome to join the adventure. Accommodating up to 6 anglers, but for the sake of comfort and proper fishing, Capt. Cody recommends groups of 4. The first mate will also accompany you on your trip, to help you have a safe and productive day. To honor his efforts, please do remember to include a 15% or more gratuity.
We look forward to fishing with you.

First time deep sea fishing and Cody really helped guide us to a fun day reeling in some monster baraccuda. We had so many good moments caught 7 fish 1 trophy sized barracuda that we’ll probably end up getting mounted.

Had a great day on the water with Capt’n Cody. He’s an extremely knowledgeable captain with very personalized guidance. Very positive experience, i highly recommend this captain.
We had a kick*ss time! We caught sharks left and right, it was such an awesome trip. Captain Cody was fantastic, very knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. We can’t wait to book again!

Captain Cody is fantastic! When the weather took out bottom fishing before our trip, he spoke with us and switched tactics to ensure we caught fish out on the reef. It was a birthday trip for my dad and it was first for us. Cody made sure it was a success. He got my son and nephew their first fish. My dad caught. He even lifted the “no fish” curse my brother has struggled under for years! He’s friendly, knows the area and knows his trade. We’ll absolutely fish with him again and highly recommend him.
I was born and raised in Florida in this area and have fished and been on the water my entire life. On my 5th birthday I was finally allowed to go offshore fishing with my father and his friends and from that moment on I was hooked, I knew exactly what I wanted to be when I grew up. I have worked as a first mate for many years under one of the oldest captains in the area logging many years on the ocean. I have learned many valuable tricks and tips from him before getting my captains license and started doing trips of my own. I love catching fish but I love teaching others even more and watching their faces light up when they get to catch their own fish. It's truly a priceless moment for me and what I live for.
