Anglin’ Adventures - Northwoods
Looking for a freshwater fishing adventure? If you’re ready to hook your next trophy catch, turn to Anglin’ Adventures and Captain Steve Mortenson to put you on the trail of that red-hot bite.
This is an opportunity to explore Wisconsin’s Vilas County Lakes and discover the great potential of this area that might be less known but is a diamond in the rough. The fishery on each of these 6 lakes is excellent, and Capt. Steve knows exactly where to go depending on the time of the year, so that you can snag a big one.
His specialty is trophy fishing for giant Smallmouth Bass that come in impressive sizes of more than 20 inches. These bad boys are a challenge to reel in, and that’s what makes the chase thrilling. On your trips, you will also be going after Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Crappie, Musky, Walleye, and other inshore favorites. Bear in mind that Smallmouth Bass, Musky, and Largemouth Bass are strictly catch-and-release.
Northwood Lakes are the A-class waters if you’re on the prowl for your next Smallmouth record, but to get to the best fishing grounds, you’ll need a reliable ride. With captain’s 21’ Triton bass boat, you will be on the fish before you know it. The vessel can take out up to 6 persons and has a 225 HP Mercury engine to propel it to the fish hideouts.
You will have rods and reels waiting for you on the boat, as well as lures and live bait, and after the trip is done, you get to go home with all your catch cleaned and filleted. When you’re fishing with Anglin’ Adventures, all the fishing gear is provided, all you have to do is bring a valid fishing license, good company, and some snacks and drinks to stay energized.
Come along for a memorable day on the water and get your next trophy!
