Top Hook Charters offers a variety of fishing trips that will take you around the waters of Fernandina Beach. Your host for the day is Captain Cody Baker. Born and raised in Fernandina Beach, Capt. Cody has been fishing the local waters his whole life and knows how to put you on fish.
You will be fishing aboard a 23' Hammerhead CC, powered by a 150 HP Yamaha. She can accommodate up to 6 anglers and comes equipped with GPS, Fishfinder, a livewell, and an ice box. You'll also find all of the standard safety equipment.
These waters are home to a ton of species including Bull Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Tripletail, Black Drum, Flounder, and Tarpon. Whether you're a novice or a pro, you'll get to battle it out with these feisty fighters. Top Hook Charters will take you around jetties, backwaters, and docks, both during daylight hours and in the night.
When you head out, Capt. Cody you're provided you all the rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait you need. He'll also clean your catch, and take care of your fishing license. You should bring snacks, drinks, sunscreen, a cap, and sunglasses.

We caught like 7 different species of fish and my 6 yr. old son and 8 yr. old nephew had bait on the line at all times. We were impressed and I would recommend booking a trip with Cody to anyone! The bite was on right away, with several nice red fish and a torpon. When the fishing tailed off we went after shark and landed a 6 footer and lost another after a good fight. Went back after the reds and hooked up a few more times. With 3 ladies on board all rookies they had a great time. Captain Cody knows his stuff.

He did an amazing job. We were catching fish while others close by were not. We even began catching black fin sharks - very cool! We highly recommend Top Hook Charter and when we return next year we are surely going to rebook this trip.

Half Day Trip – Backwater (AM) on July 5, 2020 • 2 adultsIf you like hearing “Fish On” , Capt Cody is the way to go. He knows the local waters and networks well with the other local guides . I’ve been out with him several times and always a great experience. Today hooked up with 2 big Tarpon, kings in the boat( and for lunch) , Cobia , jacks , big drum , other species to include shark .. great experience.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
