Southern style Charters is a family-owned company operating out of Fernandina Beach, Florida. With a crew made up of professional fishermen with a positive approach to everything they do, this is a team that will work hard to make sure you have an eventful and memorable day on the water.

Enjoy your fishing trip aboard a 31’ Twin Vee boat, which comes powered by twin 300 HP Suzuki engines and has a maximum cruising speed of 28 knots. There is a toilet on board for your maximum comfort when spending a day on the water, an ice-box, a live bait tank, and an anchoring system to make sure you stay rooted to the fishing grounds. Up to 6 anglers are welcome to join the adventure.

Decide whether you want to spend your day fishing the jetties nearshore for whatever is biting, stay inshore, or head up offshore for some bigger action. You will get a chance to target Redfish, Red Snapper, Amberjack, Barracuda, Cobia, King Mackerel, Seabass, and Black Drum. Whichever trip you choose, you can be sure that the experienced mate will be with you every step of the way.

Each trip comes inclusive with all the necessary fishing equipment to put your catch together. The captain will provide you with rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait, as well as the licenses for you and your party. Your catch will be cleaned and filleted for you to take home with you and have for dinner after the trip. You can feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks with you.

First fishing experience

Took the adult kids out for a quick fishing trip with captain tony!! It was a beautiful morning and got a jump on the heat. Caught a few fish ( mostly shark, catfish and a yellowfin) in the short time we had booked. We walked away with no dinner but have great memories of a great fishing trip! He was patient and very helpful in teaching us non fishers the ways of the fishing world! Definitely would recommend this trip and planning to come back again for a longer tour!

We went out fishing and sightseeing with Tony and it was a lot of fun. We were 5 of us including a friend's 4 yrs old kid. Tony was very knowledgeable about the area and showed us around. First time experience seeing wild horses in a national park. We also caught many fish even though it was a short trip. Tony made our experience very nice and memorable for everyone with the new places visited and the fish we caught.

We took our three grandsons, ages 12, 10 and 7 out on Captain Tony’s Charter and the boys had a blast. They all got multiple opportunities to take the rod and reel in the fish. They caught redfish, Black Sea bass, drum (which Captain Toni cleaned and dressed for us to eat) Delicious!!! And a few other fish I can’t remember the names of. All in all an amazing fishing experience!! Will definitely call him again.👍

Best trip I have ever taken.

Took a short trip with the family and expected just a few bites. What happened was more than a dream. Everyone was hooked up multiple times with giant fish. Plenty of keepers and the kids absolutely loved the experience. The captain is very knowledgeable and experienced. Great with kids and new anglers. Highly recommend and will be using again in the near future.

Fun fishing trip

It rained the evening of our trip and the Captain was flexible and took us out the next morning. We enjoyed a two hour trip catching four drum fish in under an hour. We went to a second spot and caught additional fish, including a small shark.
