Southern Style Charters is a family-owned company operating out of Fernandina Beach, Florida. With a crew made up of professional fishermen with a positive approach to everything they do, this is a team that will work hard to make sure you have an eventful and memorable day on the water.
Enjoy your fishing trip aboard a 31' Twin Vee boat, which comes powered by twin 300 HP Suzuki engines and has a maximum cruising speed of 28 knots. There is a toilet on board for your maximum comfort when spending a day on the water, an ice-box, a live bait tank, and an anchoring system to make sure you stay rooted to the fishing grounds. Up to 6 anglers are welcome to join the adventure.
Decide whether you want to spend your day fishing the jetties nearshore for whatever is biting, stay inshore, or head up offshore for some bigger action. You will get a chance to target Redfish, Red Snapper, Amberjack, Barracuda, Cobia, King Mackerel, Seabass, and Black Drum. Whichever trip you choose, you can be sure that the experienced mate will be with you every step of the way.
Each trip comes inclusive with all the necessary fishing equipment to put your catch together. The captain will provide you with rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait, as well as the licenses for you and your party. Your catch will be cleaned and filleted for you to take home with you and have for dinner after the trip. You can feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks with you.

We had a great day on the water with Captain Tony; he's a super nice guy, and he knows the waters like the back of his hand. We caught our dinner for the night, which was awesome and fed all 6 of us. He even had us fishing for a good amount of extra time, which was awesome. The boat was very comfy as well, as none of us got seasick and there was a good amount of swell. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get out on the water and have a day and even catch their own dinner! Thank you, Tony, and I will definitely give you a call next time we are in town.
We had a great fishing trip--short and sweet and producing results. Capt. Tony is patient and incredibly skilled at what he does. We had our black drum, filleted expertly and took them over to Salty Pelican to have them cooked to perfection. Great day--couldn't recommend more highly!

So we were supposed to go Snapper fishing, but there was a legal injunction, but Captain Tony was able to pivot and put us on some fish anyway. We didnt caught as many as we wanted to, (but isn’t that always the case?) regardless we walked away with a number of fish that we could fillet and have a fantastic dinner that evening…. Great time and my son and I would recommend.

Took the adult kids out for a quick fishing trip with captain tony!! It was a beautiful morning and got a jump on the heat. Caught a few fish ( mostly shark, catfish and a yellowfin) in the short time we had booked. We walked away with no dinner but have great memories of a great fishing trip! He was patient and very helpful in teaching us non fishers the ways of the fishing world! Definitely would recommend this trip and planning to come back again for a longer tour!
Tony is a wonderful Captain and bery knowledgeable. My family is already planning our next trip with Tony!! You can’t go wrong aboard Southern Style Charters.
