Alaska Slammin Salmon Charters
Alaskan Slammin Salmon Charters invites you up to what is honestly one of the best freshwater fisheries on the planet: the winding waters of the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers. Captain Jeff Bressler and his guides spend their summers guiding groups around the Kenai Peninsula on the hunt for trophy Salmon and Trout.
During their summer runs, you can find King (Chinook), Silver (Coho), Sockeye Salmon (Red), and Pink Salmon (on even-numbered years only) swimming through these cold, northern waters. On even years, you will also find Pink Salmon here, making a Salmon Super Grand Slam a genuine possibility. As if that wasn't enough, you can also find monster Rainbow Trout here, too!
Captain Jeff and the guides he uses run trips aboard' custom-built aluminum river fishing boats. These vessels are iconic of Alaska's freshwater river fishing scene and are loved throughout the North for their hardy, reliable design.
You will be able to use a variety of techniques on your hunt for monster Salmon and Trout. Trolling, spinning, drifting, jigging – however you want to fish, Capt. Jeff and the guides he uses have the equipment on board. You will also be provided with both bait and lures, to give you even more options to play with.
And Alaskan Slammin Salmon Charters provides so much more than incredible fishing. Capt. Jeff will happily arrange accommodation for your trip, we have cabin rentals, just message me about availability and cost. He can also organize a variety of activities for you to enjoy when you're not on the water, such as hiking and horseback riding, site seeing, and more.
Great boats with great captain(s), fishing two of the best rivers in the world – sounds too good to be true! The season's short and trips sell out fast, though, so book yours now and get ready for that dream Alaskan adventure!
If you are looking at a date that is already booked, please message me, I can usually get another boat or figure out how to get you on the water. Tight Lines!!!

The king salmon were not here this year. I hope they recover because fishing is a huge industry for Alaska. Glad to meet Jordan. He was friendly and talked and joked with us the whole time. Made sure to find us a good bathroom stop for us. The bald eagles and the views were extremely beautiful. I'd definitely use his services again. It was a very fun trip.

Dane is informative and easy to spend time with. No fish but that's fishing.
We had an unforgettable day that exceeded all our expectations. Dan demonstrated exceptional knowledge of both his gear and the river, and he answered all of my questions with ease. He was also a fantastic and friendly guide throughout the entire trip. The highlight of the day was landing two massive Chinook salmon — one weighing about 30 lbs and the other around 40 lbs. If you’re looking for a fishing guide who truly delivers an outstanding experience, I highly recommend Dan. Thank you again for an incredible day on the water!

Dane got us on some fish despite a slow run. We had a blast and he was gracious about helping my 77 years young mother catch a Sockeye in the most beautiful river you've ever seen. I think this is a group of charters as Dane was not a name i had ever seen before, but either way we had a blast. Just don't get confused if you never hear from a Jeff. Also, read or get a degree in fish biology before your trip to Alaska as the laws for fishing there are as cryptic as a college calculus class. It's honestly so complicated for Salmon its like they don't WANT you to follow the rules, but we booked a boat trip on a Monday without knowing that an "emergency order" meant we couldn't fish from a boat on Mondays. (seriously) I was extremely disappointed to learn this on the day we showed up (a Monday). Despite all that, Dane put my Mom into some great fitting waders and made the best of the day for us fishing from shore.

Wow! On the Kenai at daybreak at 5:am. Calm waters, motoring to special spots. We did some drifting and trolling with rigs. Caught a few. The real magic started happening while wading and casting for Sockeye - and man was that fun! Guide Daine was incredibly personable and knowledgeable. We also want to tip or hat to the Charter Operator Jeff, who was incredibly friendly and helpful. Daine had only (3) fishing on his boat, and his boat is wonderfully equipped. The cool thing about the Kenai, is that the river is peppered with public access and Alaska State Park moorings and comfort stations. Alaska does fishing right, and Slamming Salmon Guides is in the perfect location to take advantage of all the Kenai has to offer. We got our fish, however our only regret is that we did not book another day.

My father got me started fishing when I was around 5 years old. His love of fishing rubbed off on me and then some... I have been river fishing for a variety of fish my whole life. I first began guiding in Northern California in the late 90's and made the move up to Alaska in 1998. Fishing is my life. What can I say, I love to fish. I also really enjoy meeting new people, learning things from them, and hopefully teaching them a few things along the way. I love to fish with kids, it is really a blast to watch their expressions, enthusiasm, and excitement. It is one of the most rewarding experiences a fishing guide could have.
