He grew up around the water. Marijan is also a maritime traffic engineer. Fishing is not just what he does, but also what he loves doing in his spare time. He knows the local waters and tides well and can advise you where the fish are.

You will be joining skipper Marijan aboard his GT 2.5 classic boat. She is powered by a 40 HP Perkins engine. The vessel is rigged with GPS, a fishfinder, has a toilet, and a live bait well. The boat also stores life jackets. If you want to go deep sea fishing, Skipper Marijan's boat also has the gear for that. You can either hire the fishing gear from him at an additional cost, or bring your own favorite rod.

Once onboard, you can try trolling. If you do head out to deep waters, you will get squid bait. The fishing license is not included in the trip, but your skipper will gladly help with arranging them, just discuss it with him beforehand. Also, you will get to savor a shot of the traditional 'rakijica' and there will be coffee onboard.

These waters are home to Tuna, Dentex, Mackerel, John Dory, and other local species. You can join Skipper Marijan from September until June. This means you will avoid the heat and can focus right on fishing. Before you come onboard, make some sandwiches, pack a cap, sunblock, sunglasses, and dress for the weather.
