Benny’s Book a Mate & Fishing Charters is your key to a successful trip with a lot of exciting catches. With Benny and his tournament-winning crew of captains, you will be spoiled for choice. After your day out with them, you will surely be grilling fish for dinner!

Your Captain will take you fishing the prolific waters of Pompano Beach. The best thing about the area is that you don’t have to travel too far out at all! They will show you the hottest spots and honey holes right around the corner.

You will be fishing the drop-offs, endless artificial reefs, and rocky piles. Get some Bonito, crank up Mahi, score Kingfish, Tuna, and Wahoo. Head up to Sailfish Alley or venture out to the Gulf Stream for Swordfish.

Hit the best fishing spots in search of Snapper Rosies and Tilefish. Load the boat with good-eating fish and come back to shore with your own catch of the day. Bennys crew works hard for a successful catch on whichever trip you decide to choose.

Benny’s Book a Mate & Fishing Charters will take you out aboard a 27’ SeeVee. The boats have everything you need for a successful day on the water. Both come powered by a 300 HP Suzuki engine (new motors changed every other year) and are fully outfitted with the latest electronics, professional tools, and accessories to put you on fish.

All trips come with quality gear, tackle, lures, and licenses. The crew will clean your catch when you’re done. If you have any questions or goals for your trip please message them after booking and they'll contact you before your trip. Don't forget to tip your captain at the end! 20% is standard.

Great morning on the water!

This was our first trip with Bennys and had the luck to have Captain Tyler as our guide. We stayed busy with Bonita, Barracuda, and the prize of the day was a big ol’ Sail Fish that’s going to be hanging on the wall at home! This was my wife’s first trip and she was nervous about getting sea sick but instead she had a blast and we are already looking to come back next year and bringing our boys (grown but still our kids). We highly recommend Bennys!

Unforgettable Fishing Experience with Capt. Tyler!

4 Hour Trip – Offshore (AM) on May 2, 2025 • 2 adults

Just had the fishing trip of a lifetime with Capt. Tyler! Not only did I catch my first sailfish — an incredible 7’6” monster — but we also landed two 25-pound blackfin tuna that put up an amazing fight. Capt. Tyler was professional, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience smooth and exciting from start to finish. He knew exactly where to go and how to work the waters. You can tell he truly loves what he does, and it shows. If you’re looking for a serious offshore adventure with a top-notch guide, I can’t recommend Capt. Tyler enough. I’ll be talking about this trip for years!

The Nth time fishing with Benny&his crews. We fish all over the states from Hawaii all the way to Florida and we have high standards for what the captains bring to the boat, skill and attitude. Our man Tyler brings the fire and intensity as usual. Keep it simple, he knows his shxt and brings you the 🏆 fishes. As experienced as we are, still need to listen to what the local pros tells you. Every region has their own ways of setup and techniques. We got 2 bites in 4 hour trip and landed both. A monster ~70lb wahoo and a great AmberJack(released). Can’t expect anything more than this. Will come back as usual next time. This is the guy you want if you want a catch of your lifetime! Listen to what they tell you!!!! It works! It hurts to lose fish and you want to make 200% sure ur doing things right.

Just an awesome day for a family that have never fished before

Benny was awesome and had a great level of knowledge. We did this as a family day and we have never fished before and Benny helped us with everything and we caught a lot of fish and got to take home some to cook at the hotel kitchen. We live in Sweden and we just loved the service and everything about this day and it will stay in our memories for the rest of our lives. ☀️☀️🤩🤩✌🏼✌🏼

4 hr sunset fishing trip on July 4, 2025 • 3 adults

We went out a little later then scheduled, that was due the the other people from the other trip cameing back and taking so many pictures at the dock. The trip was great, the captain had full control of the boat at all times, the fish was only bitting on the bottom no top water bites on that day. We cought plenty of fish. The captain even decided to stay out a little longer due to us leaving a little late and we was getting bites.
