The Silver Dollar III is a 52' by 20' Sportfish Catamaran, custom built-in 2009. Her twin hull makes for a smooth and stable ride across the waves. She comes equipped with industry-leading technology for weather, navigation, and luxury. On board you will find top-of-the-line fishing gear and everything else you need.
You might just forget you're even on a boat while resting inside the spacious interior. Restrooms, padded seating, and air conditioning cater to your comfort. There is room on board for up to 44 passengers. A leisurely cruise suits 40 guests comfortably, while a sport fishing adventure is perfect for 25.
You can spend your time in Biloxi fishing for anything from Redfish and Trout to King Mackerel and a variety of Sharks. In spring and summer, your captain can take you as far as 25 miles from shore. In June, you can enjoy excellent Snapper fishing while casting lines in water 65 feet deep and below.

We had seven and six had never fished like this before. Everyone caught fish and one of us caught 4 different kinds. Captain new where to go and I know this cause the other charters out were following us. First mate was was very helpful explaining how things are going to work and helping us get the fish in the boat. 
I would highly recommend booking this charter, whether your booking for a family day or an adult trip. Maddox and Tristian went out of their way to make sure our 4 kids had a great experience on their first fishing trip. The boat is clean and spacious and they make it easy to enjoy your day! Communication leading up to the trip was top notch and the boat was easy to find. We plan to book again in the summer!
We had out-of-town guests, so could only squeeze in an afternoon trip. However, the boat is very comfortable and stable, the air conditioned cabin was a great place to keep cool. Capt Mattox put us on some Jacks and Bull Reds. Deck hand Tristen was friendly and efficient at keeping lines in the water even while we were reeling in some big fish.
Capt Maddox and Tristan, the first mate, did an excellent job and we had a great time. If you’re in Biloxi and looking to go offshore, this is the right boat and crew. Being a catamaran, there is plenty of room for our group of people. We will be back for Snapper season!
Capt Jay put us on the fish again and again. All the crew were super knowledgeable and eager to show the smaller guys how to get hooked up. We brought 19 people and everyone had a great time. Can't wait to do it again!

He purchased his first boat, the Silver Dollar, in 1974, and thus his career as a licensed charter boat captain began. As the business grew, Jay and his father J.P. spent the better part of three years designing and building the Silver Dollar I, a 50' fiberglass sports fisherman. In 1997, Jay christened his third boat the Silver Dollar II. He now operates the Silver Dollar III, a custom built 52' Catamaran purchased in 2009. Jay won People's Choice Award for Favorite Fishing Charters, Biloxi Business Men's Club Award for 50 years of Service in the charter boat business. His most memorable honor was being inducted into the IGFA Hall of Fame in 2016. Captain Jay's son, Dustin and Captain Leo run trips aboard 'Big Fish' and focuses on inshore light tackle trips.
