Captain Mike is a knowledgeable veteran fisherman with over four decades of experience. If someone can put you on the fish, that’s him. He knows these waters intimately and has all the skills you and your family need to get yourselves a nice fish to take home.
You will be fishing from a 24’ Carolina Skiff DLX center console. She is powered by a 150 HP Mercury engine and can reach speeds of up to 25 knots. The boat features GPS, a fishfinder, has a lie bait well, and is fitted with a trolling motor for an extra boost. The vessel can take up to four people, which means it’s great for families on vacation looking for a fun day out. The boat stores required safety gear. If you’re bringing minors, it’s best to bring life jackets for them yourself so that they are comfortable. There is Daiwa and Shimano tackle on board.
Fishing trips with Capt. Mike will see you exploring Ozello Keys for Redfish, Speckled Trout, and Snook. You can also scout the flats and use popping corks for Reds and Trout, or go around backcountry waters using pinfish and plastic baits. And, during summer months, Capt. Mike can take you and kids on a scalloping trip. It’s a perfect outdoors activity to try here.
Mike also has an apartment for rent, ask him about staying there! It’s a perfect opportunity to go both scalloping and fishing in this beautiful part of Florida. After the trip you can go to one of the nearby restaurants who will cook your catch.
The captain will provide all the gear and will clean your fish. For an additional charge, Capt. Mike can clean the scallops. Water and ice are supplied onboard, while you should bring food and drinks. Make sure to pack sunscreen, a cap, sunglasses, and light clothes. Get your friends, and come fishing with Capt.Mike.

Capt. Mike was amazing! we had the most amazing experience. This was my kids first charter fishing trip and they are in love with the fishing trips now. Capt. Mike made it extremely fun for them and taught them so much. we would definitely be back and would recommend him for an amazing trip. 5 stars isnt enough i would give it 100 if i could.
Captain Mike was great, he new his stuff and put us on the scallops, he is great company and very knowledgeable of the area! Would highly recommend!

Cpt Mike is one awesome boat captain! The ride out on the water was a great scenic route and beautiful! We easily got out there to the spot and he set up with rods, jigs and confidence to reel in some big ones! He was super friendly, knowledgeable and happy to share his love of fishing with our group! We're seasoned fisherman (and ladies) but didn't know the area well enough to know where to go get on some keepers and he made our day amazing! When we got back to the shore he was quick to clean our catch, bag it up, share a cold beverage with his wonderful wife and us! Overall 10/10 recommend Cpt. Mike!
