Captain Spangler was great. We had a group of adults with kids and he was great with them. Kept kids engaged and planned the trip around them. We caught a ton of mangrove snapper and grouper off of the bat. All of the kids got their fill of catching fish early on and we had something to take home for dinner so the trip was already a success at that point. He gave us options about what we wanted to do from here and we were able to get some sea trout and then hook into a couple of monster snook... More

Captain Spangler was great, he took myself and three teenage boys out to Pine Island Sound to catch fish. His boat was a 26ft Carolina skiff with plenty of room. We fished from about 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm, it was a sunny day with low breeze, Captain Spangler helped the boys cast to where the fish were located. All the boys were successful and landed fish! A great time was had by all!

Very friendly, Captain Alan took us around the lower part of the river out to the sanibel bridge area also.  He’s a local guy who knows where to find fish. This is our 2nd trip and we had a cooler of fish to take home for the 2nd time. Just an all around good time with a good guy. Give him a try on your next trip.

Capt. Alan absolutely knows his stuff.  He fishes every day, so knows where the bite is and has been for the days leading up to your trip.  His boat & equipment are top of the line.  He arrived early for pick up with lines tied and bait in the well.  We had an awesome experience, kept enough for a meal for 12, and threw 4x that many back.  Snapper, Grouper, Redfish, & Snook.  Tight lines y’all!
