Captain Alan has a very nice boat that easily accommodated 2 adults and 4 kids. He got us on the fish quickly, and we had a productive trip. He gave us a lot of fishing options and was open to whatever we were interested in. Everyone caught fish, which was great for the kids. Alan knows his fishing well! Was prepared to catch all sorts of fish, and probably the best thing was how patient he was with my sons. They were all ecstatic. He’s a very personable guy too, we talked for hours about the little but important things in life. Snook, sea trout, lady fish, some catfish and even a few shark. Look no further, you’ve found the best charter down here.

We were very lucky to have captain Alan for our family fishing trip in Captiva. The boat was great, he was very knowledgeable, patient with the kids, and we caught tons of fish. We have teenagers so he found the right balance of waiting for fish while keeping things moving so they didn’t get bored. We went home with a great day of memories and some fish for dinner!

Captain Spangler was great, he took myself and three teenage boys out to Pine Island Sound to catch fish. His boat was a 26ft Carolina skiff with plenty of room. We fished from about 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm, it was a sunny day with low breeze, Captain Spangler helped the boys cast to where the fish were located. All the boys were successful and landed fish! A great time was had by all!

Our group of four caught nine species of fish, and each of us caught at least half a dozen mangrove snapper. Alan knows the area very well, and he was informative and fun.
