Get Hooked Bait & Tackle runs a variety of awesome fishing trips on the John's and Butler Chain Lakes. Stark Lake , headwaters lake Toho and many other lakes in the state of Florida. We also run Florida bass charter which is one of the top charter services in Florida. Depending on the lake the cost could go up if it's outside our range. We can fish any lake in the state.
Spend the day fishing aboard a rebuilt, sturdy, and reliable 21' Skeeter bass boat. This boat offers one of the most comfortable rides in the area, with room for 4 anglers maximum, but 3 is recommended for comfort. She's powered by a 225 HP Yamaha engine, which enables a smooth ride. I also use this on Tour fishing as a Pro Angler im the only one in the state that does what i do.
The skeeter can hold max 4, I will make the call when the time comes. Please note as stated it's best for 3 guests.
The local lakes are famous for their awesome Largemouth Bass fishing. On a good day, you could be on the business end of many multi-fish counts. The most effective way to attract them is with live bait. Bait isn't included in the trip price , But we suggest you get some. As also the owner of the bait shop you will get you quality bait for your trip.
,4, 5, 6, and 8-hour options as well as the choice of mornings or afternoons, you can always find a trip to suit your schedule. We catch and release with our policy on all our trips, releasing the fish to make sure future generations can enjoy it.
After your trip, if you're interested, you can do a short drive and visit our bait and tackle shop. Also, we can handle big multi-trips from small trips to cooperate events as we have many captains who guide for us out of our shop. My son and I have gone on several guided fishing trips all over the country from Montana to Florida to California. This was by far and above the best and most memorable trip we have been on EVER taken. Between the two of us, in 4 hours we caught multiple Monster Large Mouth Bass. In total we landed 22 fish on the boat and lost several more just by bad luck. I would recommend anyone who is looking to experience Bass fishing in Florida to get in contact with Capt Tim Bagwell, his experience and expertise will leave you wanting to come back. We are looking forward to our next trip with Tim. Thanks Tim, you made my sons whole trip to Florida.
This is a real captain, not a poser like the others . We caught many fish and had a fantastic time. We will use Captain Tim again!
Thank you for coming out, I do not get a lot of reviews here . There are many people on fishing booker who are not captains and im not sure how this site can allow that month after month after month. Others might have more reviews but we are a true USCG approved captain there are many others on here but for some reason they say they verify people but that is false. If people want to come out with a true Captain and wants to be with a captain that does it for a living then we are here. Thank you for coming out what an amazing day and you guy's caught some big bass!
Captain Tim thank you for giving my husband and son priceless memories. They had an awesome time and have not stopped raving about how knowledgeable, kind, and patient you are and how great the fish were biting. My son is a novice and with Captain Tim’s coaching he caught fish including a 7 pound bass. Captain Tim you are the best! May God bless you and your family!
I did manage to take 1 picture. . We love getting the kids out I'm the only guy in the state that owns the bait and tackle shop the only guy in the state that hosts fishing events for the kids. The only guy in the state that has a fishing supply store online with 1000s of foshing supplies. We are the bait and tackle shop that even other guides come to. So when you come put with us your coming out with someone who tells others where to go so you get the best of the best. It was a pleasure getting them out. Thank you very much for coming out and I'm so happy he managed that big tank of a fish and memories for a life time. Keep us in mind we always put people on fish and make sure they have a great time. Many of these guys I have taught how to fish . Many of these guys are not even USCG approved captains like myself as well. As I stated I'm the only one in the state that does what I do. Thank you again and be sure to tell your friends about us so we can get them out having fun as well.
Had a great trip with Captain Tim. He was extremely knowledgable of the area and had us hooking onto fish the entire trip. Everyone in our party of 4 caught some sizable largemouth bass and we even reeled in four alligator gar. Cannot recommend Captain Tim highly enough

I have been fishing for almost 45 years. Im a USCG approved captain and fish the FLW as a pro. I grew up Bass fishing four days a week, riding my bicycle to go fish. I now own the bait shop Get Hooked Bait & Tackle, I also own get hooked magic baits an artificial soft plastic company of 50,000 plus sold at the shop we have hundreds of people come in weekly. We're able to find the best spots and give out the best deals on guided trips with our bait. I do Charters all over the state but i will have us on a lake that is catching. I started guiding because it's like owning the bait shop, I want people to catch fish and what better way than being on the water getting them hooked up! Fishing is my life and our current boat is tuned up to run smoothly on the water to get where we need to go. Nothing makes me happier than seeing people catch fish. Bass is my thing and we have caught them year-round.
