From Zero Bites to 31 Bass — Live Bait W

Had a great 6-hour trip that turned into a perfect lesson in why live bait still wins on these lakes. My angler showed up with his own rod, wanted to fish artificial only — tough angler, respect it. An hour in with not a single bite, he finally put the rod down and let us switch him over to live bait. From there it was a different day on the water: 31 bass boated in about 4 hours. He liked it enough to book again the very next day, this time sticking with artificial the whole trip, and still put 5 solid bass in the boat. Either way works for us — we're happy to run it however our anglers want to fish, we just lay out what's biting and what's not so they can make the call.
