Reel Therapy Fishing Charters and Captain Jim Peabody invite you down to the crystal waters of the Florida Keys. Explore the amazing aquatic opportunities Big Pine Key has to offer. Check the bite up to 30 miles out and venture out into the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean.

Whether you are a complete beginner and have never held a fishing rod in your life or you are a seasoned professional, everyone is welcome. Capt. Jim can cater to your specific wishes and needs. He will bring you in touch with the Key's wild side!

Reel Therapy Fishing Charters will put you on top of the hottest bite. The Keys are called the 'Sportfishing Capital of the World' and its waters teem with a great variety of fish. You will be going for Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, White and Blue Marlin, Sailfish, and many other species that patrol the waters up to 30 miles out.

If you'd rather check the bite on the reefs, just let Capt. Jim know. The local reefs hold Grouper, King Mackerel, and various types of Snapper.

As well as offshore and reef fishing, Capt. Jim offers seasonal Tarpon trips.

All of that happens aboard the 'Reel Therapy'. She is a 25' Ranger center console with twin 150 HP Honda engines. The Reel Therapy is rigged with state of the art electronics - a GPS, a sonar, a VHF radio, and a cell phone. She is fast and comfortable with plenty of fishing space for up to four anglers. The Reel Therapy is also equipped with an enclosed head and plenty of storage.

All trips come inclusive of everything you need to make a great catch possible. You will be provided with rods and reels by the leading brands such as Penn and Shimano. As well as that, Capt, Jim will provide you with the necessary equipment if you want to test yourself in fly fishing. When you return to shore, your catch will be cleaned and ready to go into the frying pan.

Caught lots of fish
Full Day Trip - Reef, Wrecks on December 11, 20252 adults
This is the 2nd trip with Captain Jim / Reel Therapy Charters. we caught our limit on snapper quickly and he asked if there was anything in particular we would like to catch, we thought barracuda would be fun to catch so he got the rods ready and we caught several barracuda’s before our trip ended. He did a great job on making sure we were happy with our outing. And once again, the music was awesome.

Great Experience!
Half Day Trip - Reef, Wreck on April 27, 20252 adults
Captain Jim was able to fit us in for a last minute morning trip and we had a great time. We are experienced anglers, but we still learned things from him. He put us on some good fishing and even took the time to try and hunt some tarpon because we told him we would love to see some. He cleaned our catches and pointed us in the direction of a great local spot to cook them up for us making for an excellent lunch. He even let us feed his “pet” goliath grouper - such a fun treat! Thanks Capt!!

Great Captain and great time
Full Day Trip - Offshore on July 16, 20253 adults
We did not know if we were going to be able to go out due to the weather. The captain kept in close contact with us and gave us updates and options in case the weather turned to bad. The weather allowed us to go out deep and the captain did a phenomenal job keeping us on the fish as much as the weather allowed. Captain Jim THANK YOU SO MUCH!! You were awesome and we had a great time. Will definitely be booking with you again in the future.
