Whether you are a first-time angler or an experienced professional, Mike has the boat, the expertise, and the equipment to make your experience unforgettable. He also runs a sportfishing summer camp for kids, making him the resident expert when it comes to planning a fun family trip for you and your loved ones.
The Lisa L is a 45’ custom-designed Key West offshore sportfishing boat, that is powered by a 705 HP Caterpillar engine. Coupled with a 16’ beam, this makes for a fast boat that is also very stable and comfortable to fish on. Brand new power equipment and a custom fuel system means you will not need to worry about any exhaust smell or smoke during your trip. It has a large, comfortable cockpit, complete with plenty of shaded, cushioned seating, dual live bait wells, and a nice, clean bathroom.
Captain Mike is happy to customize the trip according to your needs and can take you anywhere, depending on what you want to do and for how long. The exact locations fished will vary depending on where the fishing is good at the time. Some of the fish you can target are sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Kingfish, Tuna, Wahoo, and more besides.
Rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price of the trip, and anything you catch will be cleaned for your convenience. There is also bottled water on the boat, but you are free to bring along any drinks and snacks. You should make sure to pack a pair of polarized sunglasses so you’re comfortable for the whole trip.

Full Day Trip on March 26, 2021 • 2 adultsTook a full day trip and very thankful I did. Caught bait fish for the first hour and then went to deep water. Used kites to run out lines. Caught large Bonita fish all day long. At the end of the trip we caught a 5ft Hammerhead followed by a Sailfish!

Mike and Zeus were awesome and they both worked hard to make our experience the best - and it was. Captain Mike put us on the fish and we landed two sailfish - one of which was a 7 ft - 60 lb (approx as it was catch and release). We also landed a cobia, a dolphin fish, a kingfish, and several others. Overall, one of the best experiences I have ever had deep sea fishing.
