Long Line Charters and Capt. Eric Long has established a good reputation among his guests. He’s been running fishing trips in the area for over 20 years and knows the best spots for your next adventure. Join for a day and see what swims in these waters.
Want to catch a long Muskie? Take a trolling trip to Lake St. Clair. You can also catch Smallmouth Bass here. If you prefer fishing on the Detroit River, this will give you the chance to get Walleye on your hook. While Muskies have to be released, you can keep other fish species.
You’ll be fishing on a 23’ Robalo boat. She’s powered by a 200 HP Yamaha engine and features Garmin navigational electronics. This center console accommodates up to 4 guests. In case you have more people in your group, check out Capt. Eric’s second boat on his other listing.
Different fish species offer various fishing techniques you can use to catch your trophy. Test what suits you best and challenge yourself a bit. You can go trolling, drift fishing, spinning, or jigging. Kids are welcome to join too, and they can get their first fishing lesson. Capt. Eric loves to have novices on the boat, as he can teach them good tricks right from the beginning.
Your fishing equipment is fully covered, so you only need to purchase your fishing license. Feel free to bring your snacks and drinks. If you’re bringing kids with you, bring a life vest for them too.
Let Long Line Charters and Capt. Eric make this day a fun and unforgettable experience. Just say when you’re coming.

Capt. Eric Long has over 20 years of experience in the Great Lakes. He's very friendly and loves to see his guests having a great time. While fishing the Detroit River for Walleyes and Lake St. Clair for Muskies are his mainstays, Capt. Eric is no stranger to Saginaw Bay Walleye fishing in the middle of summer, or trolling Lake Michigan for Salmon in late summer. In 2017, he and his team won first place at the Scotty King of Kings tournament at Lake Ontario.
