Sea Dog Sportfishing Charters Of Sheboygan runs seasonal trips on Lake Michigan for some exemplar Trout and Salmon fishing. You will have a stable vessel and a captain with local expertise by your side.
The fish are hard hitting and make up for a nice day on the water. No matter whether you're quite experienced or just starting—these trips will have you hooked on as soon as the fish strike the line.
The boat is regularly maintained and fully equipped to give you world-class fishing out of Wisconsin.
The boat comes with a GPS, a fishfinder, a lady-friendly toilet, an enclosed cabin with shower, air-conditioning, safety gear, and a selection of Penn reels and Shakespeare rods that will be at your disposal. The vessel gives plenty of space to up to six anglers.
Your fishing trips will see you fishing for Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout, Chinook, and Coho. You can purchase the fishing license right by the dock and there is free parking within 50 feet from the boat. Kids are welcome to join the chase and the captain will provide life jackets for them. You should bring food and drinks, as well as sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, clothes in layers, and a camera.

Although we didn't have the same luck as the morning trip had, we snagged two king salmon. It was a foggy but beautiful night on the boat and a core memory for the kids. They can't wait to take another trip in the future!

I think it was the weather that was against us, it didn’t spoil our time on the lake, plan on doing it again real soon. thank you for the great time you shared with us.

3 Hour Trip – Evening Trip on July 13, 2024 • 4 adults • 1 childCaptain Jim is a real Wisconsin character who's been doing this for over 40 years. I felt we were in good hands. We took a 5:30pm tour with Captain Jim and first mate Josh and had a great time. We trolled for a while out on the water until we had to call it a night due to an approaching thunderstorm. As Josh was pulling lines in, the very last rod suddenly had a strike, and my son and I landed a 15lb salmon in some choppy waters before we hightailed it back to the dock. It was awesome!

Half Day Trip (AM) on July 29, 2023 • 4 adultsWater conditions were a little rough due to a storm and wind the night before put Cptn. James still put us on a couple of Coho’s. If conditions were better I know we would have caught more. Him and his first mate are hilarious and share good stories and jokes. Boat was clean and nice and he cleaned our fish for us after the trip. Would 100% recommend and go out with Cptn. James again.

Captain Dave is great and really put us on the fish! His first mate for our trip was Kyle, who was super with our 9 and 11 year old grand kids. Kyle just graduated from high school and is on his way to UW La Crosse, but he set up the rods and downriggers like a pro. He was also very patient with the kiddos when they were fighting and landing our catch!
